  14. Vanessa C, I don't know if you're also considering a videographer, but I thought I would share this with you. If you also want video, Gran Caribe charges you $350 for each "concept" vendor. They consider video and photos to be one concept, so you can bring in outside videographer and an outside photographer and only charge you a $350 outside vendor fee for both. Just learned that yesterday.

Since I am only using the chapel, I was wondering if I have to pay that surcharge too. It seems pretty ridiculous to me and I really hope I don't have to pay it because I'm not having a "sunset wedding/reception" which is what they call it. I emailed them about it and we'll see. If you have any info, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

  18. Simba 1234, Thanks for the bus information, I already contacted Cancuntransfers and they're going to send me a quote! Sorry, I didn't notice in your original post that you had already mentioned Cancuntransfers. I have a question about the Chapel. Did you use a live musician, or did you go with prerecorded music? If you went with prerecorded, was there someone from Gran Caribe to hit the "play" button? Thanks again.
  19. I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for creating this post!! It's so helpful.

I booked all transportation through them so I got a discounted rate - I booked the following transportation: 53 passenger bus from Gran Melia to Gran Caribe for ceremony bus from the ceremony to Le Meridien for the reception bus from the reception back to Gran Melia limo for Groom & GM's to the Ceremony limo for Bride and BM's to the ceremony limo for Bride & Groom from ceremony to reception The total cost of everything was $950. This was by far the cheapest rate I got and I asked for quotes from about 8 different transportation companies. Their service was great too and limos & buses were clean and on time. Thank you so much! This is very helpful!
  21. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has rented a bus to transport guests from one location to another. I would like to transfer my 60 guests from the hotel where the reception will be held, to another hotel where the religious ceremony will be held, then back to the original hotel. Has anyone else done this? If so, what company did you use and how much did it cost? Thank you in advance for your help.
  22. Wow, I didn't event think of that. Thanks for such a great idea and suggestion.
  23. Your pictures are beautiful! What a great wedding! I have a question for you, did you rent a bus to take your guests from one property to the next? How much was it and what company did you use? Thank you so much for your help.
