    Well girls --- It was nice talking with you all and discussing all about Dreams Palm Beach. I hope you all have wonderful and beautiful weddings. I have since cancelled my wedding that was to take place on July 8th, 2011 and am no longer a "destination bride" or a bride at all for that matter so I will no longer be using the site. I wish you all the best of luck and hope your wedding process is simple and easy and you have an amazing day at this amazing resort!!!

    Welcome to my life!! Ever since I have sent out our save the date's I have been freaking out like crazy. I have been with my guy for almost 5 years beginning when I was 18 only and I keep questioning if I'm ready for marriage. I never thought about this until the planning actually started because I really just had a ring on my finger. I love my FH so much but I am worrying that I didn't get to "live life" enough as a single person. I have only been single for around 5 months since I was 14. This scares me! Anyone else or am I crazy?

    Welcome to the Forum! You will find everything you will ever need to plan your wedding here and everyone is so friendly!!! I don't know much about those resorts but since I am getting married at Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana I have done a lot of research on the Dreams resorts and all the brides have nothing but good things to say!

    It only took her a few days (1-2) to let me know if the date was available with the resort. Once she said it was available and I sent in my info and deposit it took 2-3 weeks, maybe less but it seemed like an eternity... This was because she had to send all our info to the judge to see if he had it available and what times, and that took a while. If you aren't using the judge it will probably be much quicker.

    So I am so happy I decided to get these done. I never thought I'd love mine as much as I loved all the others I have seen because that's just my luck! Sarah did an amazing job with reflecting my wedding and my style. They are absolutely PERFECT for me and can't wait for my guests to see them! (Pages 5 and 6 with travel info and stamp page aren't shown) Thank you to Sarah for everything including these pics!

    As far as FREE websites go - I love weddingwire.com. I love my layout, and all the features and it's super easy to use. You can also upload your guest list and addresses and guests can RSVP and all this other fun stuff. I had a lot of fun working on mine.

    I have decided for my mother to walk me down the isle. My parents divorced when I was 2, and I did have a relationship with my Dad until I was 13 or so. Then my older brother and I have had zero contact with him since then after a big falling out.     I am definitely planning on wearing wearing my dress atleast for the beginning of our AHR. My grandmother also will not be able to make it, so it will be nice to atleast come out in the dress and do our first dance over again ? Then I will most likely change into a more casual/fun white cocktail dress since we are having a cocktail reception.

    Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been with my guy for almost 5 years and engaged for almost 2. So I have been looking at dresses for a long time and now that it's time to actually pick one I need to make sure after all this time it is just PERFECT. Good luck finding something and make sure when you do find the one to post it for us!!! I love looking at everyones gowns because it makes me realize my dress is out there somewhere! Â

    islandbride - WOW that worked out perfectly for you!! I did try on the dress but Mom didn't love it and she needs to love my dress as much as I do. I have tried on about 60 gowns already and have liked dresses but nothing special yet. I do think every bride needs to have that "moment" with their dress and I am just waiting for that to happen for me!

    See I felt the same way as you looking for dresses but now that I have started and still can't find one after going to 6+ shops is freaking me out! I don't want to settle for something. I didn't think it would take this long!! I don't think it's too soon because then you can atleast get an idea of what you like and what looks good on you!! Good luck shopping!
