So do to budget issues..and my number of guests being uncertain..I have decided not to do OOT bags...so here are the items..I can sell each by itself or you can get the whole lot. Dollar Tree 19" Tote Bags.I have 21 bags: 1 green, 4 blue, 4 pink, 7 yellow and 5 red. $1.00 each or -$21.00 total 25 mugs-$2.00 each or $50 total 10 Blue OOT bags- $1.00/each or $10.00 total 30 Luggage Tags- $0.50 each or $15.00 total Will ship anywhere in the US. Shipping cost depends on zipcode

OK So for all of the future brides that have not sent out invitations....here is what happened to me in regards to the other Iberostar resorts. 1. you can have kids at the suites...that is one of the reasons why I decided on it. 2. I put in my invitation that the wedding and activities would be at the suites....being nice I added (there are three resorts at the property, you can stay at the Grand, Suites or beaches. If you stay off property you will have to pay $100 per day per person to attend events) BIG MISTAKE 3. if they stay at the beaches they have to pay $30/person/day to attend the wedding activities at the suites. and my future inlaws took advantage of my misprint and argued that since I didn't mention the $30 in the invitation their guest staying at the beaches shouldn't have to pay the $30 fee. so basically to keep the peace I am eating the cost for her 6 guests that are staying at the beaches. (did i mention that my and FI are paying for everything ourselves...and all of my inlaws guest work for the airlines and fly for FREE so they are not even paying for airfare.....) My suggestion...DO NOT MENTION THE OTHER RESORTS....if they find out about it themselves then they are responsible for the additional fees...just like eholt said. This has been a serious headache recently and if I had to do it over again...I wouldn't mention the beaches or grand at all. I am having to adjust my budget to cover this expense....agggggggg Sorry needed to vent...

Ok here is a new question for past and future brides. My RSVP date was july 22. I sent out 200 invitations. As of Saturday I have received about 90 replies.. Here is my question...I have 50 guests that replied yes, but know of only 30 that have confirmed their rooms. I sent an email out last monday asking them to notify me that they have confirmed their rooms if they did not use my TA. I know I need to turn in a head count shortly..and I want to prepare for favors and OOT bags...50 and 30 is a big difference.. What do you guys recommend..preparing for 50 or 30.... then question for past brides...how do they charge you if at the ceremony only 25 people show up do they charge you that or the 30 you informed them were coming. (referring to the $18/person over 8 people for the ceremony)

That is exactly the problem that I am running into...so most of my guest have decided to stay at the suites, because by the time they pay the day passes for the other activities they would have paid the difference in cost for the room at the suites and then some.

Thanks for the replies... I meant for them to stay at the Iberostar beaches. I told them to use my TA who includes transfers...but they wanted to "find their own" I told them about the fee in the invitation...but when I sent out a reminder email..it was like they didn't understand what I was saying. Oh yeah...they are not paying for anything..nor have they offered...(JUST VENTING)..... I told them if they want to throw an At home reception for the people that claim that can't make it because of expense..then they can put it together themselves...pay for it..and tell me when to be there....

So went to michaels no luggage tags...went to dollar tree...no beach totes...uggggg

OK Past brides...I just got the infamous call from the family in laws...wanting to know why they have to pay extras...like day pass if they stay at the beaches...so with that being said 1. how did guest get from airport to hotel....how much does that cost 2. if staying at the suites..where my wedding will be...ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES A GUEST WOULD HAVE

Please let me know what you decide to do for your single male guest...I have been trying to figure out a nice bag or something for them. are you going to add any male type of items to the bags for them?

I love this post so many creative ideas...I am not a DIY at all..so things need to be broken down to the basics for me. A couple of questions. 1. How many guest are you planning on having at your wedding. 2. CAN I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I want a goodie bag....hehe 3. What type of paper did you print the door hangers on? 4. Does my counter really say 70 days to go...say it isn't so...I feel like I am ready but then again I feel like I am missing things...Can't wait until my RSVP date so I can start making my OOT bags and stuff. I think out of 200 invitations I only have about 20 RSVP cards returned. Are you guys calling the people who haven't responded?

I can't remember if I asked this already...what did past brides or what are future brides doing for their OOT bags for the males in the group? I was thinking maybe a small backpack or something for them. Any ideas?

OK does anyone know what the size of the standard keycard holder is? Also which are you guys getting horizontal or vertical? I like these because they have a ziplock closure.
