Well I am not sure that we are going to do the boat now. He just sent me a picture of it and it looks as if there is a cabin but not much room for seating outside of that. We were planning a sunset cruise for about 3 hours. I wanted a catamaran, but when he sent me pictures it was not what I was thinking in terms of a catamaran. I emailed him this afternoon so hopefully he will get back to me with another option. Ill let you know!

GREAT!! Thanks so much for the info! We have about 13 people and I would rather a catamaran anyway. I think that yacht doubles as a fishing boat too. Yuck! Most of my guests didnt want to travel too far from the resort because it would become an all day thing which just sounds like a pain in the rear to me. Again...thank you!

You can find it on iTunes I believe. Or if you google it it should come up too. I thought those were my final choices but fiance put his foot down and told me that they were depressing. Haha! Â Soooooo I think we have decided to go with Clocks by: Coldplay and Use Somebody by: Kinks of Leon. The instrumental versions. Â

Kids are def. not allowed. I asked about the same thing because I have a 15month old that I really wanted to take part in the ceremony and they said absolutely no way even if he was only there for an hour. Bummer... Â Houston- I would email Yamina and see what shows they are doing now. I just heard about the Michael Jackson show from Trip Advison and she confirmed that yes it was on my wedding day. So excited! I think they also do a casino night. That would be cool too! Â

Welcome!! I have actually the opposite as far as a "party scene" goes. If you read through the 1,000's of reviews on Trip Advisor like I have you will see that almost everyone says that there is hardly any nightlife at all. Most everyone there are honeymooners or people celebrating anniversaries. It's not the type of place you will find spring breakers. It's too far away from Cancun. Two of my best friends just went on their honeymoon last year and also said the same thing. Everyone drinks by the pool all day in the sun, takes a nap, heads to dinner and by that time you are worn out!!! Makes sense to me! As far as reception places I don't have pictures of anything but the X-Lounge. I am trying not to bother Yamina too much with my emails. She does not let you reserve till about a month or so prior to your wedding.

My wedding is in October, so hopefully his busy season will have passed. Maybe I should email him to see what his typical turnaround time is so that I know what to expect. -

We are just doing an a la carte cocktail hour and then I was going to make a reservation for the group for dinner (we will only have about 15 people)...then what? I am doing the same thing! I will only have about 20 or so. What day are you getting married? I am getting married on a Thursday and I know that is the night of the Michael Jackson show! Everyone raves about it on Trip Advisor ( if you are into that sort of thing). I know there is also a piano bar and one other club. Maybe you should email Yamina and see what the entertainment schedule looks like?

That is GORGEOUS!! I have a reception dress for sale if you need one. I got an extra and Jessica McClintock has a funky return policy so I am stuck with it. I got the wrong size.
