I'd like to get in on this! Do i send the "before" photo/weight now or not until the start date of August 27th? Â I ordered my dress a size small so I have about 6 or 7 weeks before it comes in to squeak into it!

I think the aqua one would tie in perfectly and look like it belongs rather than being an afterthought. I don't think it will be overkill since it has the white base and shells.

I was there last week to buy an album and saw them in the discount bins near the checkout. HTH!

I was considering having mine Labor Day weekend so people could have that extra day off work, but I was told that it would just be too crowded and hectic and too much more expensive.

I am so fed up with SMB. If they are that busy they need to hire a 2nd WC because they cashed my deposit check over a month ago (have proof from my bank statement where they signed it) and sent the contract via e-mail and regular mail with the check, then they just tried to cancel us saying that we never paid!!!

I'm also hungry all the time. I've had my blood sugar tested before, but I literally get nauseous if I go too long without eating. I always thought that winter time was the hardest, but this summer I seem to just be wanting to stay inside with the AC on and not get all hot and sweaty doing a workout and I've just been craving cookout food and margaritas... It's so hard! I ordered my dress a size smaller than what I am now too so I really need to kick the bad habits!

I almost bought Alfred Angelo 2091 which has a pretty low back and is very flattering. I tried it on in all white though since it was all the store had. Very light and easy to move around in and only $499! Â Â

I think it looks plenty long enough for 5'5". I measured 5'5" in my flip flops and had to order my dress 3 inches shorter from Alfred Angelo.

Here's mine! Style 2123, can't wait for it to come in! If anyone lives in the DC area, the new Alfred Angleo signature store in Springfield is really awesome with very nice, helpful employees. It's style 2123. I also tried on 2100, 2105 and 2091. 2100 I thought felt too constricting up top because of special boning or whatever, and I didn't like the shape of it very much... made me feel boxy. 2105 was a strong contender because I liked the color personalization of it, but felt that the train was way too long and it couldn't be shortened without losing detail. 2091 is the one I almost bought because it was light and easy to move in, so great for a DW but it just felt too plain (in all white) after trying on the one I ended up buying and the only color accent available for that one was gold. Do they offer decorations from the resort that you can use/rent? I'm trying to figure out my budget and if I have to bring my own or how much the different options would cost.

I feel your pain. I've been trying to get a $800 sound system rental removed from my contract 3 TIMES and I don't know if it's that she's busy, inexperienced or if it's the language barrier but it's a small wedding and I just want to bring an IPOD dock!

Well my mom won't go because she said it would cost a small fortune to bring my 4 underage siblings, her, and my step-father. My grandma won't go (even if I offered to pay for her) because she's never traveled before and isn't into the idea of starting now so I'm getting the guilt trip hard from my entire family and FI's family and friends are the only ones who are excited about it.

My resort wants $800 for a 4 hour rental.. that's total BS and I've asked 3 times for her to remove it from the contract since we would bring our own IPOD dock, but she hasn't yet. I'm afraid to spend the $$ on a dock then still be charged for it on the wedding day.

Is the TTD supposed to look similar to the ceremony dress or are people going for a completely different look? Mine is large and ruffly and might not work out so well in the water.

I feel the same way. My budget was no more than $600 including alterations and everything and I was looking at the classifieds on here, the preowned dress sites, and the ebay knock offs. I wanted something simple but I ended up putting a 50% deposit on a $900 dress that's pretty big and poofy for Mexico. I don't want to trash it since it was so pricey and I could try to resell it after, but I also feel guilty about wanting to spend another $100+ on a seperate TTD... arrrgh!
