  1. Thanks for coming back and sharing the pictures! Glad you're pleased. We'll definitely be looking into these too.
  2. I got big ol boxes of mugs too (not as many as you though...I see your plus 72! Wow!) so I'm looking forward to any tips you get.
  3. Awesome pictures! You look amazing! Maybe you can do another shoot as an anniversary gift down the line and get some of the more artistic shots you want then.
  4. Congratulations Meitra! Glad to hear things went so well! Thanks for the review! Hope married life is being good to you Did you get in touch with Cherry through Kerry? Love the way the orchids looked at the gazebo. Thanks for that tip and the one about a lot of candles. I'll be sure to bring a bunch.
  5. Big fan of the half wig. I wear one now by Freetress called vanilla girl. Still undecided if I'm going that route or a sew in but you make a good point. The money I save could go to the tons of other wedding stuff we have to spend on.
  6. After being inspired by another BDW bride, I was going to do message in the bottle invites with boxes that look like suitcases. I bought enough to make 100 but went with passports instead. That said, I am selling the following: 100 plastic bottles with corks from sandartsupplies.com 100 mailing boxes from sandartsupplies.com 100 small silver starfish from ebay 100 tags from Staples 1 funnel from dollar store 200 gold fastners from Staples 2 bags of sand from sandartsupplies.com 2 rolls of raffia (natural color and dark brown) from sandartsupplies.com 2 sheets of brown heavy stock to make luggage straps from Michaels 4 rolls of brown ribbon from Michaels 50 sheets of kraft paper for invite from Michaels I'm asking $125 + shipping. I live in CT (an hour from NYC) and would be willing to meet someone locally. PM me with questions.
  7. June 21, 2011! Just a little over 6 months to go!
  8. Thanks for sharing but, just so you know, in the fine print it says" Not valid for custom stamps." Major bummer too since that is what I really want from zazzle.
  9. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I plan on doing these and hope I can get mine to look half as nice!
  10. Hey Pretty - where in JA are you getting married? I have a chocolate woman who is going to do both my hair and makeup. She's in Negril. See her info below. And I feel your short hair challenge pain. I too had a really short cut but have since grown it out (for the wedding! Lol). Let us know what you decide. 11. LOVE the look, mistibuard. Great idea to do a test run. I usually don’t wear sewn in weave but plan to for the wedding so maybe I’ll do like you and try it beforehand. I posted my wedding hairstyle here a while ago. I’m not so much worried about how the up-do will look. I’m worried about the days before and after looks. Good thing is I don’t swim much so it probably wont get wet.
  12. What a nightmare! What you're asking for is so simple and I'm sure she's done something similar before. She is, afterall, a WC! Maybe you can give her a call one in a while to iron out things like this? It may get pricey but at least you could maybe have a bit of piece of mind. Either way, I hope it gets better as your day gets closer.
  13. Congratulations on what looks like an amazing wedding, gpendleton! Thank you so much for sharing!
