I just found out that FI and I have been upgraded to FIRST CLASS on our flights!!!! for FREE!!! my mom just called saying how she inquired about paying for us to be upgraded (as a secret) but Signature Vacations came back and said they'd do it for free since we have such a big group going!! yay!!!

p.s. i leave home in 12 days (for the airport) and leave canada in 13!!!! ahhhhh!!! after today only 6 more days of work! i can't wait!!!

Sheri - glad to hear it arrived. so you should be getting 2 now? i think my Fi was the same (about liking every pose) when i did the BD shoot for him last spring hehe

I'm with you Meg. I can't wait to change mine too!!! When FI got me a Women's Health subscription for xmas, he put it in my 'new' name and I love getting that every month with my married name!! It's a complicated Polish name, but I don't mind. It will also be nice to finally be seen as an individual in my work industry -- my dad is a big wig, so i'm forever just seen as his daughter, which has had some negative conotations (ie. those who think i only have my job from my dad and such..)

i've been working on my planning thread and really hope to get it up by the end of this week. it's all written up, I just need to snap some more pictures!!! unfortunately i'm a day behind in my projects because i was stuck at the dentist last night.. :S

Char- that was SO nice of your co-workers!! the cupcakes are adorable! SO I got my Old Navy order yesterday!!! The turquoise bandeau bikini fits PERFECTLY! as does the tunic cover-up!!! yay!!! I now have 4 bathing suits, so I think that's enough

thanks sheri! we've recieved 2 gifts so far ... a cheque and cash. we deposited them right away because well, we needed them to help pay our property taxes!!! it's not bad at all that you haven't sent thank-yous. Gosh, my cousin got married October 2 and we still haven't recieved thank you notes!!!!!! ... my brother got married in July and sent thank yous 4 months later... So what FI and I did, is we made up a spreadsheet where we're plugging in names and what we got so that we don't forget to thank anyone when the time comes. I'm thinking of ordering some cards through vista when we get home with one of our wedding pics on them. THen we can mail right away to those who already gave us gifts, and we'll have them ready to mail out after our AHR to those who give to us then. The joke going around in our family right now is that FI and I have our thank you's sent out before my cousin!! my mom is so ticked about them not thanking anyone yet (like 6 months after their wedding) that she's going to mention something to my aunt+uncle (his parents) in jamaica lol

Our girls weekend was really great!!! It was a bit cold up there, but BOY was the food GOOD!!!! essentially mostly all we did was eat and it was awesome. Nice hanging with my SIL's here give me a sec and i'll get some pics
