the gerberas are the ones i'm getting for sure it's what to put with them do you think these would go even though they have that hint of burgandy?? (minus the leaves)

my only tip to you Brandy is try on every style! the one i ended up buying wasn't even close to what i had envisioned for myself and the only reason i agreed to try it on was because it was marked down from $1536 to $500! When i put it on that first time though... and more so that 2nd time (just to make sure ) i knew it was my dress!

Brandy - i had literally watched episode after episode of say yes to the dress prior to going out for the first time. i was soooo nervous once we finally got there! i went to a really small shop in a tiny town so it obv wasn't at all what i expected. i basically walked in and was given free rein to look around and just grab what i wanted to try. i didn't know what to do!!! once i tried on the first dress all the fears and nerves seemed to drift away and i had a blast!!! it was also nice only having my mom and FMIL with me too. they helped make my decision super easy hehe so yes moral of the story, once you get that first dress on, i'm sure you'll feel fine! enjoy it!

"cheap and dirty" that's exactly the right way to describe the stuff in chinatown. my mom and i left there saying to eachother "well at least we know we never have to go back there again!" my fingers are crossed that afloral works out

Hi ladies! so my mom and i made the trek to Chinatown in Toronto on the weekend in search for silk flowers and anything else that might be useful. unfortunately the trip was a total BUST! the only silk flowers i found looked like they belonged in the dollar store. *sigh* .. so i think i'm going to be ordering of afloral.com now and hope for the best! Brandy - excited for you to try on dresses! i was scared shitless when i went the first time! lol i found my dress at that first store and bought it on the spot! (it's a sample dress)

Ellabaja - yes, I bought a pack of these from Michael's for $6 or something (ithink there are 36 of them) using one of their 50% off coupons I got some turquise ribbon for them and am just going to make some sort of label. THey'll be given to the guests to use once we're announced as hubby and wife!
