i think iron on sheets usually run around $10 for a pack of 4-5 sheets... doesn't sound like much but it does add up esp when you need to think about printer ink too (i'm really frugal lol)

ooo so FI found his ring on the weekend And I've 100% decided on mine after trying it on They're actually both on sale right now, but we're going to wait until the new year and then hopefully try and get a good deal on them. They're both at the same store where he bought my engagement ring. I'm there all the time getting my ring cleaned so they know us pretty well now so here's hoping they'll help us out I'm just glad we've found what we wanted and know for sure that these are the ones.

yeah good call on that. I saw someones bags on here (forget who) who just stenciled "MEXICO" on it 3 times in differenct colours like this: MEXICO MEXICO MEXICO and I liked that idea... making it somewhat neutral so people would want to use them again. That would involve lots of patience and painting though. LOL BUT... it would be cheaper than having to pay and print a bunch of iron-ons.

Brandy - I think i'll end up with the ones with the longer handles (just emailed them now to see their shipping rates to Canada). I'm still torn about what I'm going to put on them though. I thought of ironing on our logo OR... doing something completely different.... not sure yet

Love the photo share cards ella! I had some made several months ago but made the mistake of making a flickr account for it.... i've since remembered that you're only allowed so many pictures on flickr.. so i might just open up a new account on another photo-share site so we don't run into the potential of running out of space! I think I'll hit up Vista print in the new year. I'm also in Christmas mode now so January will definitely be the 'wedding planning month'. I bought some luggage tag holders from another bride on here and I think they're at the post office right now for me to pick up. First on our list come January 1st is to get them made up and sent out to guests as our official 'thank you for booking' thing.

Brandy - they look really good! hmmmm maybe i'll talk to FI and see what he thinks because yes, even though we're not exactly drinkers, our guests are. I think i'll go check out that etsy shop ... oh say yes to the dress!!! hehehehe I have been staying well away lol

Brandy - were they that cheap even with your logo on them? .. i've thought of the idea, but considering FI and I aren't exactly drinkers/partiers it just seemed odd to us to give something like a beer koozie (if that makes sense).. doesn't exactly represent who we are.. unless i'm thinking too much into it lol

mocha - honestly i LOVE how the dress looks on you! I also never really had an a-ha or teary moment when I decided on mine. It was kind of just like a "yup! that's it" moment. As for OOT bags... I've been holding off on these until I got a better count of guests so I didn't get stuck buying something and then needing extras later and not being able to find it anymore. I think we pretty much have the final counts now though, so I plan to get started with them in the new year. The only thing I've purchased so far is little first aid kits which I found at dollarama. I've been hunting all over and cheaptotes.com seem to have the best deal out there (something like $.99 a bag) so I'm going to order them first and either iron on or paint my own design on them. I also want to include: - a DIY bookmark - a DIY puzzle book - deck of cards - hand sanitizer - lip balm ... and i'm not sure what else. It's hard to do when on such a tight budget. I'd love to do mugs but I just can't afford to spend over $100 for them.

So we'll use these as the 'before pictures' They don't look as good in these pics as they due in person due to the bad lighting - hard to photograph when it's pitch black outside. But you get the general idea. Going to make the bouquet over the weekend!

THEY'RE HERE! THEY'RE HERE!!! My flowers FINALLY arrived!! and the wait was WELL worth it! I am soooo happy with them! Close up you can obviously tell they're fake, but I have them sitting here next to my on my desk and literally from a foot away, they look TOTALLY REAL!!! My only complaint is that my turquoise ones look WAAAAAY darker than they did online, which sucks. BUT I was already playing around with them all, they still look absolutely AMAZING in a bouquet. So guess what I'll be doing this weekend???? hehe So excited!!

awww no snow for you yet Teira? we got about 3 inches here on the weekend - so nothing major. However south western ontario (3 hrs or so from here) has gotten over 100 cm in the past few days one town is over 150cm!!! crazy!

Teira - that's so exciting!!!! here's hoping time flies between now and Feb! Alterations should hopefully be done on mine by Feb so I'll get to go and get mine too! I miss not being able to look at it whenever I want now that it's at the seamstress 4 hrs away!
