tris - my colour is turquoise as well -- FI got his tie at Le Chateau in the summer for around $30 and i got my turquoise heels on ebay for about $15!! so they are out there! i definitely recommend checking ebay if you haven't found turquoise shoes yet. these are my shoes:

Hi there! I've decided on going with fake flowers. My main reasoning is that the free bouquets offered with my resort aren't what I want and then I got to thinking - why spend a ton of $ for a real bouquet that I want but probably can't even really bring back home? So, I've recently orderd the flowers that I want from afloral.com and plan to make my own bouquet.I bought enough for my bouquet, FI's bout and some extras for decorations - all of that incl. hefty shipping to Canada came to $52 (the flowers before shipping were in the $30s). And let me tell you - they look AMAZING in person. I hope to actually get my bouquet together after Christmas (things just suddenly got too busy) and I'll definitely post pictures when I'm done. I love DIY'ing so I figured how hard can it be to make a bouquet?

at first thought, april seemed so far away from christmas time! now that it's almost christmas it seems like our weddings are going to creep up REALLY fast! it'swierd to think that in only 2 weeks i'll actually be booking off my 2 weeks for the wedding. a few months ago it seemed so far away.

i haven't even started looking for transfer sheets -- way too busy now with the holidays. but i'll probably just use the weekly 40-50% of michaels' coupons to get them in january

are any of you doing a 'who's who' booklet? even though most of the group is travelling together i'm still thinking of doing one with pics of the guests and such

Being so close to Christmas, it is starting to get so quiet here in my office. I think I'm going to get started on some of my DIY projects. I'm doing up a spreadsheet now to try and keep things organized.

I emailed them the other day asking about shiping rates up here and because I only plan to order 20 or less, she said I'll be charged the same rate as they charge within the US! pretty awesome. So I plan on ordering in the new year.

FI was so funny when he saw that ring in the store. he'd been looking for a Tungsten ring with a stone like that for so long and our store only just started carrying Tungsten. When he saw it he was so excited. He was like "yup! that's it! done!" haha yeah i do have Michaels. hmmm I should go and check out their iron on sheets. I'm always sending my mom over with coupons lol
