mocha - have you checked ebay for shoes? lots of options there!

i'm not going to lie, i was looking at real estate in Orlando, FL the other day!!! i'm so sick of winter! if only you guys had health care like us down there in the states, FI and I would move in a heart beat!!!! houses are so cheap down there compared to here!!!! for the $ we'd sell ours for here, we could buy someting like double the size in Orlando!!! lol

this winter has been horrible in compared to last!!! last year i shoveled TWICE!!! we had like no snow and it was great! I remember riding my horse outside in March! This year it's been the opposite. It seems to snow almost every other day.. and it's been C-c-c-COLD! (-27 wind chill this am) ... April 6th can't come soon enough! lol

i just spent the weekend driving in snow and now this... i just told FI that if we do get it as bad as they think that i'm telling my boss that i'm not going to try and drive to work lol

mocha - i thought right away about trying to make grandma's dress bigger, but then i took it off and changed my mind. i'm not sure what it's made of, but the fabric didn't agree with me... i had quite the red line across my tummy when i took it off (it was really scratchy)

glad to hear that Brandy!!!! i've been waiting ever so patiently for my luggage tag loops, but am starting to become impatient!!!! they shipped back on the 12th and i still haven't seen them yet!!!!! my OOT bags shipped on the 24th, so hopefully they show up this week... i hate waiting

my grandma also brought out her wedding dress for me to see when i was visiting. we had the idea that i could wear it for the reception if i was too hot in my dress. she got married i think in the 50's and the dress is sooooo cute!!! (strapless too!!) unfortunately my grandma was obviously a twig beause i needed to loose a good 6 inches around my torso to make it fit!!! LOL i'd rather not break my ribs to fit into it, so that idea is a bust. Cool that I got to try it on though!

Wow there was a lot to catch up from that i missed this weekend! you ladies have been busy!!!! I am happy to report that alterations on my dress are DONE and it's READY TO GO! Unfortunately, no pics for you YET ... but I'll get some this week. My dress is 2 pieces, so I was only wearing the skirt on the weekend as that's the only part that needed the alteration. The skirt has a lot of pickups in it so she cut and hemmed the new length saving a little extra in the front. So all we did was have me put it on and walk. Then to make the length perfect in the front, she just sewed a few more pickups! Easy peasy! She took a TON of fabric off of it too so I think I have more than enough left to make a cocktail dress. AND, the skirt is SO MUCH LIGHTER now!!! phew!! I'll be bringing the dress to my parents' house some time this week and I'll try it ALL on there for my mom (she couldn't come this weekend) and get her to snap some pics! I'm really happy with it though! :)

mocha - i'm kinda liking the black too but am worried it might look too stark? hmmm.. i'm going to play with it at home for sure. and thanks for the luck! hehe we're heading to Cornwall ... so from Bowmanville, we're looking at just under 4 hrs of driving. I hope we don't run into any snow!!

So i'm sitting here bored at work..... really wishing i could leave early considering i have a 4 hr drive ahead of me tonight ... Anyway, i'm playing around in powerpoint and have decided on the general idea of what i'm going to do logo-wise for my OOT bags what do you think? Imagine the tree turquoise though (I need my mac lol powerpoint isn't the right program to make this)

i'm only waiting until march for the bathing suits because i'm hoping to be even mroe toned up by then and i want to make sure they fit properly! no sand ceremony or petals for us... we're doing things pretty plain and simple

oh yeah i forgot about Winners too! ... at least there's no big rush yet. I don't think i'll buy anything until March anyway. unless i see a great deal between now and then that is

wow my last post totally didn't make sense haha essentially i'm going to get 2 with bandeau tops to wear the 3 days before the wedding, then after the wedding i won't care about strap marks, so i'll probably bring at least 2 of the halter ones i already have (and maybe just switch bottoms around?)

tenny - i'm going to get 2 strapless ones probably - we're there 3 days before the wedding and then i do already have 3 at home. just not sure if they fit properly.... since i started running last year, my thighs/butt toned down quite a bit and i might have saggy butt in the suits i have haha

i was VERY tempted a few weeks ago when i saw walmart was just starting to get the bathing suits in again... for $7 a piece!! i'm thinking i'll for sure get at least one to stick "bride" rhinestones on the butt of haha

is it bad that i might just get bathing suits from walmart???? LOL ... i just can't justify ordering online and spending over $30 for a piece and then shipping on top of it!!!... and they're rediculously expensive in other stores around here..... i need at least 2 with bandeau tops

i desperately need bathing suits!! i need to start shopping soon...
