thanks ladies! i just emailed my WC just to make sure that we are 100% confirmed.. just doesn't make sense that the time slot is showing available online. I actually have a 40% off coupon which I hope to use at michaels tonight.. and plan to go back tomorrow with the 50% one in hand

meg - unfortunately i don't think so. i know they only do 3 weddings a day max and i'm pretty sure they space them out by 2hrs... so with one on at 4, i won't be able to do 5... speaking of.. i just went to the riu site to check avail time on my date and my time is showing avail?!?!?! WTH?!?! stressing a bit right now. i have a confirmation email any everything!!! emailing the WC right now..

I have no idea what kind of flower I want - i'm sort of playing it by ear to see what's there you know? I've toyed with the idea of getting a turquoise one, but i think the turquoise gerberas are enough, so I'm going to go with white

thanks Char!! a chartered boat sounds great! .. but definitely not in our budget. so i guess we'll just let the guests mingle away. i'm sure having the cake after the ceremony will keep everyone ok food-wise for a bit.

yeah, i'm thinking that's all we can really have them do. we have decided to do a champagne toast and do the cake right away after the ceremony (still need to confirm with WC) to fill the void but after that ??? lol speaking of WC, i haven't heard from her in terms of finalizing things or telling me when she needs our paperwork and such. do you guys think i should just email her myself??

you know what's so frustrating for me??? i have NO idea what to tell my guests to do between the ceremony and supper!!! my ceremony is at 2pm (tried to change to 4 but another bride has it)...

Tenny - in addition to the comments on folic acid - it is a vitamin that helps to prevent birth defects - hence why my dr had me start taking it when FI and I got together as a preventative measure.

My "To-Do" list this weekend.... - can you believe I STILL haven't been able to finish my luggage tags yet?? omg I've just been so busy! I'm about half done, so I'm going to try yet again to work on them this weekend. We need to get the pre-travel stuff sent out! - get FI to find my monogram!!!! I have one more vista print order to place using the free logo uploads. BUT i have no idea what FI did with the file for our monogram!!! I have a copy on my computer here but the quality isn't good. I need the original copy but it's nowhere to be found on the laptop!!! EEK!!!! FI thinks it's on one of our usb sticks... hoping he can find it because I don't want to have to sit and make it again! - order our rings!!! as I mentioned the other day, they're finally on sale so time to get those things on order! That's about it for me this weekend... i have to come into work tomorow (pre-inventory set up as we're counting in 2 weeks) .. we're also on dog-sitting duty tonight for my parents.. and i'm on horse farm-sitting duty tomorrow night and sunday morning at the farm where i keep my horse... not much free time!

Yay!!! I'm so glad it went well Tenny!!! The bridal store where I bought my dress actually gave me a really nice garment bag with it. So it's just going to travel in that bag. Nice and pink and bride-ish!!!! I just read a recent review on my resort on tripadvisor and the guy said that as soon as they spotted his fiancee (now wife) walk in the lobby with her gown in hand, they immediately brought them to front desk and upgraded their room!!! SO hoping they do that for me!! I should wear my "Bride" cap that I got off vista when I arrive as well! LOL

I wish it were that easy!! .. to make it clear with him that we're not doing gifts As long as we've been together we've made the decision to not make v-day a big deal.. no gifts or anything as it's just another day. As sappy as it sounds, we live by the fact that why should we celebrate a 'day of love' when we can make the effort to make every day a 'day of love' LOL it sounds even cheesier when I write it down! Anyway, to my point - FI sends me a msg yesterday "No more shopping until after monday because I bought you something for v-day!" .. my response was something along the lines of "seriously??" lol
