yikes!!!! that might be flipping me out a bit. ... do they have a reason?

we're both overall very light packers, so i'm not worried at all about being ok with 2 suitcases and 1 carry-on for the 2 of us (since my carry-on is the dress). in all honesty, how many clothes am I really going to need when i'm travelling somwhere where it's going to be like 30degrees the whole time!?! .. just bathing suits and a few dresses.. a pair of shorts and a few tanks...running gear and my shoes. as for the OOT bags, I picked bags that can be packed nice and flat and everything that is going in the bags, aside from the first aid kits, are flat as well so they shouldn't take up too much room. We're not bothering with bringing things like centerpieces and such. So I really don't forsee any big issues. If we do have too much i'm sure we'll be able to distribute them through our parents' or friends' bags.

hahahaha no i'm sure he'll be good. anytime we go away for weekends and such he barely packs anything, so i think we'll be fine.

I'm hoping FI will pack light so that we'll be able to fit everything in our 2 suitcases and a carry-on!!

those hangers sure are tempting!!! lol the only thing stopping me is that i'm not even sure if we'll take a pic of my dress hanging because it hangs differently due to it being 2 pieces.

The only reason that I want to give my TA a gift is because she's my uncle's girlfriend, is coming on the trip and was my LIFE SAVER! she's been soooo helpful organizing everything travel-wise for everyone. I also just thought it would be a nice gesture to bring something for the WC in lieu of just giving her a tip. I never thought to ask her if she may want something in peticular from Canada! Maybe i'll do that.

Glad your Koozies shipped Brandy! Hopefully they're right this time! I thought about getting one of those hangers, but unfortunately my budget is at it's max. I can't really buy anything else.... well except for something for my TA and WC. any ideas of what I should get my TA (aunt) that's not too expensive????? I'm thinking of bringing my WC a small bottle of local maple syrup! (figure they prob won't have real canadian syrup there)

I'm glad my FI and I aren't drinkers so we won't really have to worry about that!!!

I planned on making up a little card to attach to the bubbles, but considering how long it's taking to do the luggage tags, I decided just ribbon will be fine. I've been putting off doing them for so long, so i'm glad to just finally have something done!!! We've officially made a dinner date at my parents' house this Saturday, so I'm determined to get everyone working on doing the iron-ons for the OOT bags. I'll bring my iron with us so between the 4 of us, maybe we can get them done quickly! Oh and I also bought some fabric glue last night, so I plan to go to my parents' again Sunday (without FI) to fix up the bodice of my dress --- some of the beadwork is loose (because it was a sample), and then i'll try it all on for one last time before the big day!!! can't wait to get it on again.

I absolutely LOVE the song "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw!! .. if we end up doing the formal dances, I think that's going to be the song I use.

I also actually FINISHED a project!!!! LOL honestly, I think this is the first thing that I've actually fully completed! My bubbles!!! (all I did was tie ribbon on them lol but it took a whole episode of GLEE to do!)

so I went to Michaels yet again last night on the hunt for some iron-on rhinestones but no luck... I did find these luggage tags on clearance for $1 though and couldn't not get them!!! Saves me from worrying about having to make my own! FI get's the striped one, and here's a close-up, non-blurry version of mine! So cute!!

Brandy, I would say stick to your guns. You shouldn't have to spend your bachelorette party with someone that you aren't really fond of. Maybe just word it something like "If it's ok with you, I'd rather just spend my Bachelorette my bridesmaids and close friends (or whoever you want) only so that it can be special. I'm sure your friend will understand" .. and hopfeully your FI's sister gets that. It is YOUR bachelorette, not hers.

OK so what is wrong with the US and CANADIAN postal services??? It took 3 weeks for my luggage tag loops to get to me from the US. I sold them to a bride in the UK, shipped them on the 9th and she just msgd me saying they arrived yesterday!!!!! huh?!?! Come to think of it... a friend of mine who lives in Brampton (maybe an hr from me) mailed me some cd's tuesday of last week and I still haven't seen them!!
