and step one of the notarizing process is complete. all the paperwork is now with my lawyer. he said it takes a bit to do the notarizing so i'm going to pop back in after lunch to pick everything up.

ooo and the snow is slowing down! i like that! i was just starting to be able to see my lawn again!! don't want any more snow!!!

Brandy - LOVE your hair flower!!!! all this time I've been thinking that i'll just make my own but the last few times I went to Micheals, I can't find a flower I like. The only nice onces are like the size of my head!!! so i may just end up getting something off etsy. Teira - the bag looks great!!! lol i did the same thing with the laser printer. my dad and i thought we'd just try printing on his laser and wow it was not pretty!! lol he had to do so many prints after just to try and clean the machine! the snow just started here.... we're supposed to get 5cm or something.... no big deal for me considering today is inventory at work.. aside from my lawyer appt at 9:30 this morning, i'm going to be stuck here until like 9:30 tonight! and then back here in the am! .. ugh... going to be a long one!

HI Ladies!!! I've had such a hectic/stressful day at work and literally had no time to come on here!!! Tomorrow should be better though (thankfully) I just wanted to come say hi and say that I got my last Vista Print order!!! i'm sOOOO happy with how everything turned out!!! I got my mom her own hat after she saw the "Bride" one I got on my first Vista order back in the fall (my bride one is the same font) and decided she wanted one of her own lol Here's my DND cards!!! Totally copied the idea!!! (i'm going to give FI the job to do the cutting for the door handle) And... my Welcome Letter! Which I also copied from someone on here lol ... and plan on attaching to the OOT bags with ribbon Front: Back: Seeing these was totally the highlight of my day!!! lol

you know what.. maybe i'll even start playing around with it tonight. the last few days have been so stressfull and FI is going to be late from work anyway... maybe i'll just take some quiet time and start cutting out the fabric. oh and we've finally almost got the notarizing thing solved. i ended up calling MY lawyer who knew exactly what needed to be done. i'm going friday morning with our originals and he'll take care of everything for me. all for 'free' ... providing i make a min. donation of $40 to the local hospital foundation

now that the luggage tags are done, i'm hoping i can have a quiet sunday this weekend and start playing around with the dress. aside from printing the sheets for the key holders and assembling our game books (they're printed), i finally don't really have any more DIY projects.

I hope to wear the little cocktail dress that I plan on making from the material that was cut off of my gown. if that dress doesn't work out, then i'll just get a cute little white dress. I just don't see myself wearing my gown again.

we didn't have time to work on my dress over the long weekend ... chose to relax instead. but have decided to wait until the weekend of march 5 because my grandma will be down to do her taxes with my dad. she's not able to come to jamaica so i'm going to do the dress stuff then so she can see me in it. she thinks i'm wearing it for my AHR but i'm not! lol ... this way i will at least please her a bit

that's really odd.. you wouldn't think fonts would matter if you're just converting to pdf.. sorry i couldn't help. and you said it prints incorrectly when you print from your word document?

Yesterday must have been lazy-piss-us-off day for our FI's lol ..... my FI was off yesterday yet he was dumping all the notarizing crap on me throughout the day... i felt great by the time I got home because i had a FANTASTIC treadmill run at my parents' house .. then i get home at 7pm to a black house, him upstairs playing video games... the kitchen looking just like i left it in the am with the dishwasher full of clean dishes and the sink full of dirty.... he was home all day and did NOTHING but stress me out.. then i get home at 7 and was expected to make supper!!!! UGH... men!!! .... i had my little breakdown when he finally came downstairs to find me making supper still in my running clothes... and then in silence he cleaned the entire kitchen.. and then cleaned up after supper too.. .. i keep getting "i'm sorry" emails this morning hahaha... He is now in charge of figuring out the notarizing stuff so i don't have to stress about it. He's gonig to call the bank today to see if we can just go there since it's open on the weekends.

Next up.. i'm also VERY HAPPY to report... THE LUGGAGE TAGS ARE DONE!!! I kind of had a stress-induced breakdown when I got home last night... I explained to FI that I don't like how essentially everything wedding-related has been put on my shoulders.. etc... Anyway, after supper he sat down with me. I finished gluing the luggage tags while he worked on addressing the envelopes.. his handwriting is out of this world!! They're going in the mail today!!! here's a close-up of what he wrote on out friends' envelope hahaha we're hand-delivering theirs on the weekend

thanks!! our issue is that FI works an hour away so we're trying to see if there's any way that we don't both have to be there. the lawyer is friends with his parents so we're hoping something can be worked out.

i'm happy to report that my lanyards finally arrived and they're perfect!!!!! (still waiting on the zippered badge holders.. but they're coming from Hong Kong lol)

ok - thanks for clearing that up. we had NO idea and thought we could just send FI's parents to their lawyer to sign everything.... with FI working over an hr away, this is not going to be easy to get us to his office to to this.. the stress has set in!!! :S

crap... so essentially that means we both have to go to the lawyer to do this??

QUESTION ABOUT NOTARIZED DOCUMENTS ladies, what is the definition of this???? did you guys have to sign the documents with your lawyer???? or is a lawyer signing them all we need???

i wish FI would just get the luggage tags done today.. he's off and all that needs to be done is gluing!! .. but no.... he tookd the day off because Killzone 3 comes out!!!! LMAO.. such a nerd

thanks erin!!! i think i've come to terms with the fact that if more people book and i don't have enough stuff for them... TOUGH. like his aunt/uncle.. we've been telling them since before xmas to please book and confirm. ..... oh! and his parents' friends might come too if they get a last min deal.... i told FI's parents directly if they come they're NOT attending our wedding. I'm only buying enough cake and stuff for so many people.
