k, I have an AHR question - now that i'm doing one.. we don't want to do formal dances or speeches or anything... we're not hiring a dj, just going to play music from our ipods. honestly, if i didn't know FI's friends would come and give us all kinds of $ (which we could really use), I wouldn't even have an AHR. Essentially it's just going to be a big polish feast (FI's family is Polish) at the local Polish hall because his parents didn't think a bbq was good enough for their friends who are going to come and give us $. I'm wondering how we can go about wording our invites so that guests know that this isn't going to be a traditional wedding reception with the dance and stuff, but just essentially a dinner??? being that it's at a hall, I'm pretty sure everyone will assume the dance and stuff. i like this wording: You don't need a ticket
or an advance reservation,
just make waves
to our wedding celebration. LAURA
