Hey Ladies, Well, it was another productive weekend. First my matron of honor cards came in the mail today. I will send these off on Monday with a box of goodies for each. (picture below-taken with my iPhone so quality isn't that great). Second, since FI had to work a late shift today, I decided to do some wedding stuff. I have finished wrapping all 50 of our Raffia Fans. One of my top-2 wedding dresses is of this style. It would be ironic if I end up choosing the one that is almost an exact match to the pictures on the card.

I believe it is but don't quote me on this. When talking with my Miami Coord she sent an email to someone at MP. When responding by email that's what the MP person said about vendors and gave me the information for PSAV

Hey Ladies, So in talking with my Miami Coordinator, it seems like MP is trying to enforce this vendor policy. I asked about having DJ Mannia and she said "remember what your contract says about outside vendors." I didn't press the issue since it is early but I will be damn if I get their DJ who I have heard has mixed reviews and the prices that she had them send me were ridiculous to say the least. So FI and I both agree that if we can't get what we want, then we will do the Ipod System set-up but will have a DJ here set it up for us. Arrgghhh I wish they were consistent so that I wouldn't feel like .

SummerDawn, My son will be 11 however; my goddaughter will be 4 and my godson 6. I'm not to sure if others are bringing children at this point. We will be there from the 18th to the 23rd and then headed over to Le Blanc.

Hi Jamie, I love your STDs! I'm getting married April 21, 2012 @ MP and I am planning to send out my STDs between the 9th and 13th of April so that everyone will receive them by the 21st of April. This way everyone will have a year to plan. I will be sending out my Invites in October (6 months from the wedding). I would caution again sending things too early as it gets closer though as some may have a tendency to forget with things being so far out. Unless that is, if you plan on sending a reminder after the invites.. like brouchers etc..

I totally agree. I was telling FI last night about it. He said "you actually talk to the ladies" I said yes, what did you think I was doing?" Needless to say he thought it was a great idea! We will be there from the 18th until the 23rd and then headed to our honeymoon location (which we are still deciding). It was HI but we decided that will be our 1 year anniversary

What side are you going to book your rooms on? We will have to get together for a drink or at least "Bride pictures" we are leaning towards Nizuc or Sunrise. I would love the Tucan for the long-walk but we will see how this "90 days before your married to book thing works"

Hey Ladies, Busy busy day..Up @ 6 to hang out with my mom, grandma (who raised me), & one of my favorites aunts. Needles to say we didn't get back in until 1:30 and we were all exhausted. I told my grandma that she had to come to the house because I needed her to help me with something and as always she said OK. So when she came into the house, after unloading my car with stuff..we sat down and talked and then I excused myself only to return with a box from Sproullie Designs. She didn't know it but, we were going to stuff our STDs. She was so excited when I opened the box and showed her.. she couldn't stop hugging me. Then when I showed her our stamps she smiled and smiled, and then asked if they were real stamps. Well she is 73 and needless to say never thought you could make your own stamp (compliments of zazzle.com). Anyway, I'm excited as my mom aka Grandma who raised my brother and I since birth actually thought that she wasn't going to be apart of my wedding. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy the rest of your weekend... I'm going to take a nap with a large smile on my face.

Hey there Kelly, Your site is awesome. I do have one comment though. Where you talk about the US dollar, I would state something simple like make sure to carry small bills, as it will be easier for you or something along those lines. Stating that someone maybe the target of pickpocketing may lead them to think that Mexico isn't safe.
