  1. Amazing Thread. Thanks for sharing. May I ask where you got your towels from?
  2. baileybutton, The finality of things for kids as well as adults can be hard! Maybe he held on to some inkling of hope and now that his parents filed for divorce, he knows that is not going to happen. Maybe FI could have some consistent 1 on 1 time with him where it's all about them and no one else...time for him to vent and his dad to listen and explain. The same if possible should be done on the mom's end.
  3. Merrylee, Aww thanks so much. If we are there before 4 I sure will! We will keep in touch throughout the thread and exchange information as we all prepare to head to mexico around the same time (how exciting). The dress you showed is gorgeous!!!! Have you tired it on yet? How does it fit?
  4. Ladies, If you like, you can view my website at www.thefuturewrights.com password NXNW309. Our site is live as we just mailed the save the dates and have started to receive calls/text messages and guestbook signings. So turn up your volume and enjoy. Hopefully this will help my fellow Mexico brides.
  5. on the STDs doesn't it feel grand. We have an outside photographer, however; I do not have it added into my contract (as of yet) and not sure if I will. I very well may be the room as we are doing our TDD the next morning and he will be transporting us so it just works for us. I am only paying for 1 night tough. My Miami coordinator tried to give me slack about the DJ, so we will see how this work out. I was thining of having a "Vendor Room" LOL I want to save my daypasses as I know that I have 2 people that will be staying off-site.
  6. Andre, I think it is a matter of preference and comfortablity when it comes to what one wants. I want our guys to have that tailored look versus baggy. Quote: Originally Posted by Andre Lysenko Ah, then you didn't read all 78 pages, did you? ;-) Someone else posted a photo or two of the swatches they received, but that was a while ago. At some point there was discussion of certain materials not being available (temporarily?) anymore so I thought I'd share what I received on April 12, 2011. I must say, to my untrained eye (and fingers) it was very difficult to note much of a difference between the Linen blend and 100% Linen swatches. With such a small piece of fabric it's hard to tell how they would hang and the to the touch, they kind of felt the same. The blend looks a little stiffer and judging from the pictures of people wearing the full suits in this thread I'm going to limit myself to the 100% Linen. The suits with the blends looked more like chino or Dockers khaki with some wrinkles that begged to be ironed out. The 100% Linen's wrinkles somehow looked better, more natural. Has anyone seen the variety of "Trouser Fit" available now? There are 10 different kinds. Which seems to be more than people were discussing earlier in this thread. I generally lean towards slimmer-fit and found that many photos here are more on the really baggy side. One groomsman's pants looked like clown pants and the jacket was too big and far too long. I admit I'm new to linen. Is baggy the preferred way to wear linen? Would a slimmer, tailored look be inapproriate?
  7. Sharon99 We are going to send ours out the 1st week of October which will be 6 months. My TA suggested to FI and I on Friday when we were solidying everything. She suggested that we put a deadline (which is not really a deadline) as to which their inital deposit should be paid. That way we have some sort of idea as to our initial numbers. On my website where it say "Book your stay" under the room categories and rates I gently stated "Initial deposit by June 1, 2011. Please see our Travel Agent Tab for more information." Under the travel agent tab I opened with some words and then said "So what are you waiting for? Intial deposit of $150 is due by June 1, 2011." Can't wait to se you in cancun.
  8. Hey SummerDawn, FI and I moved our arrival date up by a day to the 17th ;-) We will be there from April 17th to the 22nd, then headed over to LeBlanc. I know that we will at least have 3 kids.
  9. JlCarrera, Thanks so very much. I've been on top of things (as much as we can) so that things won't get lost or put off as we are preparing to move into our new home. I knew going in that the month of May and early June would be quite for us as we get settled. So now we can let people book their trips and answer any questions from our potential guest. And put our efforts into decorating our new place ;-) The next big thing is finding the "Wright" Dress.. and in my case choosing between my top 2 number 1 dresses. I won't venture into this until June/July. As far as our engagment pics, they will be on my site as soon as I get them which will be late next week. However; I should have some "sneak peek" pictures by the end of this week. I'm too excited.
  10. Definitely, locking in a beautiful place at a price that will not hit to hard is so critical, especially in these economic times. Glad you are HAPPY!!!

  12. My fellow 2012 Brides, We mailed our save the dates yesterday (from Philadelphia) at 12 pm. Low and behold, people from PA, & NJ called, text, or commented on the website. Wow, that was really early, I never imagined that they would get them in 1 day. So my other folks from TN, CO, Germany etc... should receive theirs mid to late in the week. So excited! I think I'm going to have some wine tonight...
