ATTENTION April 2012 MP Brides. For those future brides that will be on the resort on April 21, 2012, Would you like to get together and take a few bridal group pictures? It appears that I am the last (well 5pm) bride to get married so when we move to the reception, I thought it would be great if you wanted to put on your gown again, to start a BDW tradition, for us to get together and take a group picture. If this is something that would interest you, please let me know..that way I will advise my photog. Merrylee will be onsite and thought this would be fab ;-)

Hello Fellow Brides, We are planning on jumping the broom at our wedding along with doing the sand ceremony. So its definitely nice to see other chocolate brides doing this for a DW wedding.

Hi Ladies, I am a natural hair bride whose planning a wedding for 4/21/12 in Cancun. I love number 2 & 4 but all of the styles are beautiful. I haven't even begun to look at hair pics hopefully my stylist will join us. Happy Planning

Sharon these are great and I agree with canadiangirl "stop so hard on yourself! For me, sometimes I had to show FI the finished "sample" product in order for him to get the picture because where I can visualize things in my head.. he just can't and needs to see everything. So try putting it together for peace of mind for you and FI. Then keep on rolling.

echraide, and Happy Planning. You will find that we all do things a little differently however; we are all in this together!! I'm sending out our formal invites in October (6 months) before our wedding. We recently decided to send the invites out to everyone that we sent the STDs to (just in case some NO's turned to YES, and to remind those to book). Hopefully this will NUDGE them and they will still have enough time to pay. From there 4-6weeks before the wedding we will send a "pre-travel packet" to only those who booked. This will include a brochure (if I can stand making this ;-), luggage tags, and a magnet for their fridge as a reminder. I'm also doing a little packet for each child attending (they can take this on the plan with them).

I love the fact that you are doing a red dress. I am doing a color as well for my TTD, however; it will be either fuschia or turquoise. I too didn't want to do it in ivory/white. Glad to see i'm not the only daring one ;-) My only concern is that while the dress is amazing, It may possibly be heavy when wet. Did you try it on yet? Is it lightweight?
