  1. Bojanglesgirl, Please do not cause any undo stress on yourself!!! From experience, your wedding date can actually be shown "as unavailable" on the website because they actually reserve your spot, although they have not communicated this with you yet. A lot of times, they are awaiting confirmation from the person that will performing your ceremony (but they still hold this time for you.) Call someone....but by no means rely strictly on the website.... as great as technology can be.... it is only as good as the Person entering the information.
  2. As everyone has their own ideal of what they want/would like to look like on their wedding day, everyone has their one budget despite the venue chosen. So if you choose to spend 200-1500, or 4000+, your budget for your day is YOURS!! I wouldn't say go in debt for a dress, but you know what you can afford.....be wise in your decision! What one bride is willing to spend may not be that of another and it is "TOTALLY OKAY."!! Happy Shopping for the other ONE
  3. Great minds think alike... I'm on day 5 and was planning to start the 1 at night and 1 in the morning workout.... I glimpsed at level 2 but will finish up level 1 as is (I so want to be able to finish all of the push-ups). But, I add on Zumba after my works outs and alternate that with 10 minute pilates (slim and sculpt). It makes it fun well for me anyway ;-)
  4. Awesome....I have to go grocery shopping....Whole Foods & Farmer Market here I come
  5. torilynsmith, you can't go wrong, they are both beautiful dresses!!!!
  6. Okay my budget is $4840 since I knew the dress that I researched cost this. If I didn't fall in love with it, when I went to try it on then everything else would have to way under this price. Well I fell in love with the dress. Even though I tried on others that looked great....this dress I had said yes to over and over and over again. So on the 30th I will officially say yes (down payment), meet the designer (Lazaro) at the trunk show where I will get 15% off, He (Lazaro) will also sketch me in my dress and sign it. However; I'm going to try to get some more $$ off of the dress.
  7. Krsmith, After looking at the cost of bringing my make-up artist to Cancun, I decided to do some research on artist there. Essentially it was between 3 reasonably priced folks. Sara Tamargo, Norma Perez and Adrian. After looking at the pictures (some had less than others) I have booked Norma Perez to do my make-up and she uses MAC. However, the other artist do as well. I didn't speak to MP regarding this simply will add her to my guest list for day passes. We are only getting make-up done (so the prices were adjusted to reflect that), and I'm also having Norma do my TTD make-up as well. Quote: Originally Posted by krsmith I'm thinking about hiring someone to do makeup also, and am definitely considering Sara Tamargo since we are using Del Sol for our pictures and she is Sol's sister. Ultimately I might end up doing my own since it sounds like the people at MP aren't fabulous, and I'm an Esthetician, so its something I know how to do...it just might be nice to not have that to think about. MAC is one of my favorite lines, so maybe there is someone who works well with that line. I have not said anything to Janina yet about bring Del Sol in for our pictures. So I will be curious to see what she has to say and what they will charge me. I started working with Marvin, although I haven't heard back in a few days, but since we have plenty of time I'm not too worried about it. I'm glad he is experienced at getting around the "no vendors policy". That will save some big bucks! Is anyone going to have a slide show at their wedding? I'm wondering if there is a way to have that at our rehearsal dinner/reception if we have it outside somewhere other than a ballroom. Anyone know?
  8. Start early as far as the passports are concerned, if she doesn't sign them you can have the courts issue a document but not sure how that works (check out the passport website though). I'm not sure if the kids are boys or girls, however; depending flower girls, ring bearer and one assist you down the aisle. Sandy ceremony (blended family).
  9. Hey Ladies, Have you tried push ups at all? or any other chest exercises?
  10. Sophia56, I have looked into two artist Sara as mentioned by another person and Norma Perez. I didn 't ask my MP coordinator about it as simply was going to purchase a guest pass. Not to sure how they can control who can come to your room?
  11. Bojangles, if it wasn't for the great reviews from the past brides I wouldn't even begin. I know that our day will be great, however' its a pain in the azzzz regarding how they handle things.
