  1. Thanks brendee ;-) It feels really good almost like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders now that this part is done.
  2. Thanks for the compliments and Congrats ladies we are forging ahead with our check off list
  3. Thanks so much ;-) I hear that. I'm only 5'4 but, always always wear heels. I choose the Gazebo (FI doesn't care for sand much) so that I could wear heels ;-)
  4. Okay Ladies the shoes that I am wearing to the wedding are listed on the "Show off your shoes" forum under post#1689
  5. Jwed12 didn't take a pic of my Choo's as they weren't even apart of the wedding concept LOL My Loubo's are posted on the show me your wedding shoes forum. I'm at work and didn't bring my external hard-drive.
  6. Thanks so much Tori, they are posted on the show me your shoes forum ;-)
  7. There are many pluses and minues to them all, so it will depend on what you and your FI are looking for! May I suggest that you have all 3 send you information, pricing etc. and begin to compile your positive and negatives. On this forum you can find brides that has had weddings at all 3 resorts, find pictures and reviews as well. TripAdvisor could be a help as well. Somethings that I took into account was not wanting my elders to have to endure more than an 1/2 trip from any airport especially after they would have flown for 3 hours. I looked at cost which is a bigger factory in today's economy, activities for those that may want to get off as well as those that would only stay on the resort and the ease of transportation to and from. Also the benefits that FI and I would receive by bringing a group of people to the resort that otherwise would not have come. Hope this help
  8. Thanks Chelsea ;-) My mom and aunt keep talking about yesterday and how they were dreaming about the wedding I'm so glad that my mom enjoyed it as much as she did.
  9. Exactly. Once we put our list of Do's and definitely not I'll forward over to you.
  10. Purchased 7/30/11 during a Lazaro Trunk Show in NJ Style: Lazaro 3050 Man standing next to me: Lazaro himself!!!
  11. Thanks so much! I just saw yours too and you look FAB! We are rolling right along
  12. Exactly and that is what it is all about. I lost 9.2 pounds and some clothes are falling off while others are complimenting me especially at work. But the big kicker was (as I brought my dress as well yesterday) that the very same dress that wouldn't zip up on June 11th was about 2 inches from being closed all together. Even MaryEllen my consultant mentioned it! Keep up, keep fighting!
  13. Thanks Soror ;-) You cant' see it well but my tattoos says "AKA 1908 and 20 pearls stringing within" Sisterly, Chanel
  14. Don't be discouraged, when you are working with a trainer you are definitely building muscle which will actually cause you to stay the same and/or pick up a few pounds because it is muscle mass. This is not negative and will look great! Please stay encouraged and keep up the great work
  15. Starfish it was GREAT! And he is such a gentle, humble guy. Who has a sense of style as when I came in the door he immediately spotted my Jimmy Choo's. Then he stood up and greeted my Mom first, Aunt second, followed by myself and Kelly, needless to say my mom was floored and smiled so hard. When he drew my sketch and asked me to spell my name he said OMG like Coco Chanel I said yes, he said wow.
  16. Thanks so much;-) It will sit a little lower but my butt made it rise LOL
  17. Update to post#3534 These pictures were taking with my Camera: First up Mr. Lazaro himself: My Bridesmaid Kelly in her Butter by Nadia dress The Dress Lazaro 3050 Model Picture then me
  18. Here are the pictures that were taking with my camera, much better shots. First up Mr. Lazaro himself ;-)
  19. Thanks so much...this is a dress that I have my eye on in my initial research and I couldn't be more happier. If you can tell the back wasn't zipped all the way up, because the part that would have been sweetheart came well above my chest;-I) I had lost 9.2 pounds before my fitting and wanted to loose at least 10 more but he said "don't loose too much more, or you'll need alterations." He did say that toning and tightening will not make a big difference on the dress so thats good. As far as OOT bags, I estimated to get it out of the way. So far our 15 room equals 32 people and I know we will have more to book but don't estimate too many. Since each couple is getting 1 bag and my singles are all getting a bag, I have my TA tell me who book and estimate how many bags I need off of that. I have tons of extra stuff to make up to 75 bags but have only put together 50.
  20. OK Ladies, Here' s an update after my post this morning MP 2012 Brides. First let me say that this was an awesome, amazing, blessing and cherished day. My grandmother(mom) who raised me from birth got a chance to see her "youngest baby" try on a wedding dress and as she say "in her right mind" This day meant the world to the both of us. So meeting the designer in my eyes was icing on the cake! Although my mom (this is what I have always called my grandmom) is not a crier, she gives this look of approval or disapproval that goes right through you. Today was the look of approval all the way when it came to the dress with only 1 "not so much" regarding a belt which I did not go with. Today was the day, that I even had a tear flowing coupled with smiles (my eyes are very chinkie (wrong spelling) and even close when I laugh to hard) you'll see this. Lazaro is such a sweetheart an I am humbled to have met the man that will design MY DRESS. How freaking awesome is that? I tell you, having the last appt at 4 (by my design) was great, as we shut the Bridal Garden in Marlton, NJ with MaryEllen leading the way down. We were the only people in there after 3:45p and what a grand feeling this is. The first kicker was when I pulled out my Christian Louboutin and MaryEllen (my consultant) said "Oh My God" I gotta show them. So out went one shoe LOL. The dress for my family was dynamite but the shoe for the whole Bridal Garden was the focus. Lazaro said "Oh I gotta see her walk in these, all 5 inches" My mom said "honey this is like putting on underwear to her, its natural" the whole place fell out laughing as I strut my stuff across the floor. Okay enough talking Please note that these are my iPhone pics that do not have a flash. The Style of dress is Lazaro 3050 to which I purchased in a light ivory. My bridesmaid Kelly in her Butter by Nadia dress (my gift to my MOH/BM) My grandmom Showing off my Christian Louboutin's Open Lips (which is my something blue)
