Ladies, In our case or shall I say the case of Moon Palace, Cancun you can only book your wedding date 1 year in advance. Therefore, when we got engaged an once we narrowed down the resort & month (we were flexible on days within the month), we started telling family and friends that we were having a destination wedding. When we travel we work with FI's TA whom he has worked with for years so we informally sat down with her and gathered all that we needed to begin telling people if they asked questions. I started building our website www.TheFutureWrights.com Password: NXNW309 (feel free to browse) so that once our STDs went out (created by Sarah from Sprouille Designs) they could immediately go the website for information. This worked well for us! So although our STD's were sent 1 year in advance (after a contrat was received from MP), people knew ahead of time. Best of luck to you.

FI wants a Play Station 3 really bad so I may do this to UPGRADE him LOL however; won't bring it too Mexico. I'm want to do a boudoir session but may do that at our 1 year versus present.

We did ours a year in advance to make sure everyone had enough time to save, plan etc. Our Invites will go out in October for the 6 month reminder.

Deco Cancun/Xuniga are approved vendors so your WC can handle both. But you can contact them directly (no vendor fee will be accessed).

I don't have a list but know that you can simply pay a vendor fee for your photog. Del Sol/La Luna are approved vendors & I think you only have to pay a day pass for them.

The "pre-wedding dept" is new. I have Janina as well and basically before she forwarded my email to Lizzie stated that it was to help brides with more questions than what the Miami office can give to us. But it seems that you don't get forwarded to that dept until you start asking resort specific questions. Arrgghh... In either case, Lizzie is quick but give her a few days. She will answer your questions in detail. I think that she is a much needed person in the midst of planning and many things that us 2012 brides deemed negative with changes from2011 to us, she is a positive. Keep pressing. We have our locations so I can relax! There are way tooooo many brides booked on our date for me to have waited.

leenancy, You don't have to worry and can have one of your friends marry you. Once the person contacts you with the date advise them of what you want to do.
