Yay!!!

I initially was going to bring my make-up artist from home. However with the cost of flying her in, & paying for her stay Solely for make-up that disappeared. Then I thought, I would just pay her to show one of my bridesmaids but then weighed in the climate,weather. So with that side, I booked Norma Perez from MAC in Mexico. It is way cheaper than the above, she's worked with my photog before and she uses the products I love along with having great reviews on all skin types.

Raining Hard in Philly! So with church service canceled in the morning, I am up cutting some DIY projects & formatting others on the computer. Hope my fellow brides on the east coast is staying dry!

Krsmith, 1st I wouldn't push for a MP coordinator as this is not the main issue (one will be assigned at 90 days), however; I would push Lizzie to block your locations. Since MOST everything is done on-site having your preferred sites booked/confirmed is key. As far as OOT bags I simply looked at my current people that reserved, those that I know and still have things left over (hence my sale post). I have made 60 of everything with keeping extras to go up to 15. The only thing I won't buy until Jan are our monogrammed towels as this is the most costly item that we are putting in the bag. Any extras I will make bags once we return and give them to those that really wanted to come but due to serious financial strain can't.

The "perks" hands down. The distance from the airport (I have some elders traveling), the cost, the fact that you don't have to leave the resort if you don't want and that you get to travel to their sister hotels without paying more.

I'm so sorry to hear that I didn't know that the Chapel could be used if you weren't having a catholic ceremony but if she offered maybe you could. I've seen pictures of it and it's beautiful. SO if you are going for a gazebo (although not your first choice) I would book/confirm it so that no one else gets it. So at least you can have this while you look/figure out if you want a beach ceremony.

Hi Ladies, Let's motivate each other, I have been off the wagon since I found the "Other One" my dress. I had lost a total of 10 pound up until that day with a goal of loosing 10 more but I have fallen off. Sept 1 I plan to get back on the ball. Sooo many cookouts and beer (gosh I love my beer). Funny thing is that I am so torn as my FI, and very close friends told me not to loose anymore. Granted I feel better but I think that the extra 10 (even if I only do 5 more) would make me feel even better....

I think it is worth it but, you and your FI should truly decide. It's an opportunity for FAB photos that are so unique and a fun venture (one of the first) as Mr and Mrs. What Photog are you looking at?

rae12vb, I'm glad your BIG day was a success!! Congrats on becoming a Mrs. I will using our bridesmaids bouquets for the centerpieces as well (I'm glad to hear someone else do this). Were your vases provided by MP? How did you find the transition from the bridesmaid taking pictures to putting the bouquet in the vases.

DiamondGirl, I don't believe that you can use your credit for decor! MP partners with Zuniga/Deco Cancun which is an outside vendor but check into it. Many MP brides bring their own to save on money and to have the exact color.

I'm sorry to hear this. Were you able to try the Bugamalias Gazebo (wrong spelling), is she able to send you pictures?

Not at all!! One of the reasons that we choose MP was for the perks.
