  1. They all come to your hotel. Depending on what resort you are at some will charge a day pass for each person.
  2. For make-up I booked Norma Perez in Cancun. Since bringing my make-up artist from home proved to much $$$$ and I didn't want to fuss with getting make-up etc.. Norma will also come with for our TTD. She was recommended on this site and have tons of pictures from brides of all skin tones on her site/FB. My hair is natural - I have Sisterlocks so my hair can be wet for days will look the same unless styled. My Bridesmaids will do each others hair and/or opt to to go the Salon (but I highly doubt the latter will happen.) Quote: Originally Posted by ndvidul Great idea for the use of the bridal bouquet. 3. have you tried paperandmore.com? You can actually order a sample to see if this is your color or not.
  4. to all the 2012 brides and happy planning! For my fellow MP brides, please check out the Moon Palace 2012 Brides forum.
  5. Fellow MP Brides, Just to advise that the following have been sold: ALL Shout Wipes ALL Sight Savers ALL Safetec Sting Relief ALL Motrin IBIll I have a fellow bride (who also shares the date of 4/21/12 at MP) interested in all of the other items except the Fuschia Organza bags and medicine bags. I'll keep you up to date. Thanks Ladies
  6. I was trying to find my email from Marvin about how he will deliver the flowers. He has been delivering to Moon forever! I deleted them when he sent me the contract ;-() Sorry. But OMG the pictures that he sent me after I sent him my Inspiration pictures were so gorgeous. My only dilemma (which is no longer) was to find out what to do with the complimentary bouquet that MP gives (which are to die for-so I have heard). Anyway, I decided to use the MP complimentary bouquet for our TTD which will be at 6 or we will leave at 6am the next morning.
  7. Congrats! I have to say that you had my eyes watering. What a beautiful ceremony! Did you and your Husband write the vows? They were absolutely perfect!
  8. ndvidul, Marvin has been delivering to MP for ages and he reassured me as well that all will be fine. He meets you or your designated persons in the lobby or at the gate. Hope this helps
  9. MP wont' let you use fake rose petals. I was going to purchase from flyboynaturals.com however; since I'm using Marvin for our flowers, I decided it would be best to get the petals from here. Othwerise I read that ladies simpl split the petals up in their luggage. As far as sasches, or final numbers will be deicded once everyone book their trip. However; MP will move them from your wedding locations to the reception. I am brining a few extra to have the cocktail site decorated as well. To rent these from MP/Deco is expensive. I'm using tablefactory.com and weddinglinensdirect.com have great sashes I'm purchasing from the latter as the colors match perfectly. paper lanters can be found everywhere but lunabazaar.com, paperlanternstore.com & efavormart.com has some great prices. hope this helps.
  10. Just thought that I would give you a link to DJ Mannia http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/products/mannia-audio-video-illumination-punta-cana
  11. Ladies, I posted a while back that this is exactly what you needed to do. For some reason they guard the information like their life depended on it. leenancy, you will hear from Janina shortly, if you don't call her and say I sent you an email a few days back..she will look at her email, start to read it while you are on the phone and then tell you what she is going to do. Keep pressing ladies!!!
  12. Yes I'm willing to ship and have shipped key coils to Canada to another bride on the forum! No worries
  13. Sweet! Just double check because sometimes the DJ will factor this into your cost.
  14. ;-( Some vendors are faster in their response than others (which for me is a biggie and helps to determine who I am going with). But I can say that DJ Mannia's quote is in line with what I was told. However; I did not get a dance floor. We are getting married at Moon Palace and they charge a vendor fee. So see what your resort charge (if anything) for an outside vendor.
  15. Hi there, Theres a number of threads on this topic so you may find it helpful to do a search on both DJ's. Since the serivces may very it is good to gert a quote from the DJ's themselves. However; I can tell you that I have read great reveiws on both however; I decided to go with DJ Mannia. Good Luck in your search.
