  1. Michael's is scattered in Philly but my old faithful in plymouth meeting and now my new love 3 minutes away is great. I just have a few more projects and I have to call it quits because my re-do's are adding up LOL. Got the email ;-)
  2. I sure did and I was able to use our PDF file from our passport invites to "Coordinate" ;-) some items. Can you say RE-DO FI was tickled pink and in the process they opened up a Michael's within a 3 minute walking distance from my house. Can you saw I never walk but have walked there twice already and they haven't even been open 3 weeks yet. LOL
  3. I'm glad you shared your ideas, because those projects that I just weren't sure about I was able to gain some inspiration from what you have done. Thank you for sharing!
  4. KRSMITH, From what I have read they do come flattened and should be easy to pack. The website that I was on is : https://www.theskylantern.com I hear you on the number of people, at this point we send out our Invitations next week so, everyone will have until Nov 1 to at least put an initial deposit on their room. Quote: Originally Posted by krsmith Gotcha! They are definitely somewhat costly and I didn't think about the packing...do you know if they come flattened and fairly easy to pack? There are even a few people that said they were going a while back and are now hinting or saying they might not come anymore!
  5. Right now we have 39 people with 16 rooms booked and still counting. Although pretty the cost nor packing of these items are something that "we can't live without" That's all....
  6. Here is what was sent to me and guess what she responded on a saturday.. definitely gift worthy. 3) Would we be able to release Sky Lanters (they are 99% biodegradable, non-flammable and safe and easy to use) See attached picture? Absolutely, just a question would you bring the lanterns with you?
  7. FI and I has since decided not to do this. However; here is the answer that I received: 3) Would we be able to release Sky Lanters (they are 99% biodegradable, non-flammable and safe and easy to use) See attached picture? Absolutely, just a question would you bring the lanterns with you?
  8. No problem, I want you to get all the help that you need! Just remember before you post a new forum do a search.. my experience has been to play around with a few words and you will be able to pull up a ton of things to help you. If you have any questions on how to navigate the site or need help finding something specific please let me know by sending me a PM (a message).
  9. Ladies there is a "Show off your shoes" Forum that I am sure you will absolutely fall in love with. Past & Future Brides have posted the shoes that they will wear from sandals, barefoot jewelry (I had mine designed by Chelsea of Red-i) to heels. Whatever your flavor it's in there. Check it out.
  10. Krypto, I'm not too sure if you are on any other forums but, linking up with the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites forum will definitely guide you in the right direction. Just do a search for your resorts name and you will say Viola ;-)
  11. Ladies, For those of you still looking for a dress you may find great deals from Priscilla of Boston as they are closing their doors 12/31/11. They may have some great deals.
  12. I can spot CL's a mile away! We are wedding shoe designer buddies ;-) Nice
  13. Congrats! Everyone will have their own opinion. However; with having a DW & AHR your cost could add up rather quickly so, putting both in together will save on postage and will allow your guest to plan for both immediately.
  14. I asked this question today so I'm sure to hear something next week. I will let you know.
  15. I think it's by 12pm but talk to your coordinator. Our TA has us traveling in a day early so that if there are any delays etc we wont' run into the very same problem that you mentioned.
  16. I have sisterlocks so with that said my hair can only be done by a locktician which I do every 5 weeks. Before I leave for Mexico, I will get my hair down and if my locktician/hairstylist does not make it to Mexico my brideamaid will style for me. but this is all that I would need. The ladies all agreed to either do their own hair or will do each other's hair as no one wants to leave that to chance.
