  1. Okay ladies, I'm off to meet FI. But before I go I wanted to post our OOT bags in the making. Before I start my bulk printing etc.. I also do a mock up to see if I need to adjust wording, add or remove etc.... these are my mock OOT bags and weekend survival kit. Once the printer is up at work then I will be finishing these babies. Since we decided to use Kraft Gift Bags (we did a FaceBook survey about beach bags) I didn't want all of our ( kits) to just sit in the bag. So I created the smaller bag which will hold our "first aid kit, naughty nite kit and oh shit kit" everything else will sit in the bag (welcome book etc..) These again are photo pictures. Also there is absolutely nothing inside these bags but scraps of paper that I had cut LOL for the weekend survival kits I have printed these off on metallic cardstock and they look so pretty. My whole punch (although Martha Stewart) does not do a great job at punching through cardstock so FI got me a whole punch heavy duty that they use at work. So the whole will be much cleaner. I will pre-punch these for Mexico. All bags will be assembled in cancun. front survival kit back
  2. DIY all the way ;-) If I look at the ingredient I can spot it but don't remember it off hand. I was like wow so I had to go on a hunt for all natural which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Also pretty much all of my paper (except metallic, vellum, cardstock) came from work.
  3. Here are our chapsticks. I had my son help me with these, he loved working with the heat gun until his arm go tired. Kids I have quit a few people actually allergic to SPF or some key ingredient. So I want all natural with different flavors. Here's the before picture After Pic
  4. I don't know about the veil.. I don't like anything on my face or head... I don't wear hates even in the winter. The bottom of it matched my belt so I was like oh okay.. so I'm hoping the whole ensemble will do it. Otherwise I will be posting this baby to sell TeeHee. Gotta love the Loubs... If I can tie up this loose wedding ends another pair will be my Christmas present to myself... If I find the pink ones that I want LOL... love my shoes I can't wait to meet all of my wedding sisters.. we are going to have a great week at MP ;-)
  5. LOL i'm cracking up... but that's so good that he is excited. They see slowly but surely that what we are doing. Oh BTW MP brides I am a gold card member at Michaels LOL too funny. I will receive the gold colored card (just a different color than the red) shortly and I received a $5 coupon to use as well. I fell out laughing. Like really guess what after this, you won't see me unless it's a school project
  6. Wow these are great! I see you have been really busy checking off of our to do list! Great job. Love the color! Earth tones are so me ;-) Nice on the sports crossword book where did you find those?
  7. OMG I love love love love love love what you have done! So slacking you have not. OMG how cute.
  8. Girl wipe those tears.... once you get your invites you will immediately forget that you didn't hear from Sarah (she is that damn good). If you told her a date that you needed them buy and you sent her the money, they will be there. She typically sends them (overnight or priority with delivery confirmation) 2-3days before your due date. Post post post ;-)
  9. At this point I am so not sure!! It was too costly to only have one shipped as the shipping would have cost more than 1 blumebox (crazy right). I have 10 days to contact them if I wish to return it. Since we are using the BM's bouquet as the main centerpiece and their flowers will be pink I'm so not sure. I'll talk to FI this weekend to see what he thinks but my gut says 10 days is counting down.. What projects have you worked on? Finished etc..
  10. Alright Ladies it's FRIDAY. It's time to party, relax and get your DIY on! I am package happy, sort of Well remember a few post back where I purchased a whole bunch of stuff (well some came in). FI had the nerve to open a box that was address to me. He called me while in training and said "babe I opened a box and ummm" I immediately knew that the box he opened was his PlayStation 3 that I purchased for his bday on the 22nd. Being in training I couldn't argue so I just hung up the phone. Being super pissed I sent him a text that said "I love you but even in marriage do not open my mail" When I came home his face was so pitiful so I played on his emotions the whole nite (I know I know). But even after that I told him that he better not touch it until his Bday. Well he follows rules to the hilt because all the packages today where piled up LOL The packages included my birdcage veil (which ummm I may not wear although beautiful) I have to see how it will look with my dress to determine this. There's something about trying on bridal stuff in regular clothes that just don't cut it. The second box were the centerpieces (so I thought). These are BlumeBoxes purchased from Blumebox.com. These are really cute and have great potential if you DIY the hell out of them BUT I purchased the Fuschia ones (the blue was tooooooo light). And when looking at these I said WTF why did I do that because my flowers are pink. ugh totally a dumb moment and potentially a hasty purchase. Birdcage veil without the fascinator (it has swaroski crystals and pearls on the end) this will match my wedding sash perfectly. here are pictures... blumeboxes... great idea maybe the wrong color... unless I DIY them in Blue I'll see what FI thinks These are phone pictures not the best quality but at least you get the feel. The flowers are totally not it but what I had to throw in the boxes really quick. Our flowers will come from Marvin. Scratching my head....
  11. Sdamian1, This dress is absolutely Gorgeous!!!!!!!! I love love love the detail. Now that you found the perfect man and perfect dress...you must rock the perfect pair. Can't wait to see! Awe... I was so caught up in your dress that I just read the nomination that you gave me. You are the bestest ever I humbly accept your nom but heck, I'm a no stress kind of gal and I don't want others to stress either so I plan in advance and will help others anyway that I can. But on the same note I can't stand BS TeeHee life is too short for crap. Happy Planning beautiful one. 12. Sdamian1, Don't give up..google away for the smell you want! Sad faces are not allowed on the MP2012 forum because we are so freakin' awesome PM me the name etc.. and I will see what I can find on this end.
  13. Great Job!! you and FI deserves all the compliments and bookings ;-) That's only the beginning of the text etc.. watch your website counter grow
  14. My friend, I have great great news for you. Check your email.... Yes it's what you think! The power of women determined ;-)
  15. Hola Chicas, As I sit here eating my frozen grapes (I can't eat grapes otherwise as the texture bothers me-I'm quirky) and looking through the "inspiration boards" that I have gathered from FI & I collective ideas (so FI decides to have a say in this process-go figure ;-) I believe that I am getting closer to deciding our wedding & reception decor. I think I have dreaded this process more than making the Pre-travel brochures only because the set-up will be captured in pictures but more so set the mood for what we are going for. So when FI has sometime this weekend, I will have to trap him and get the "okay babe" before setting things in motion. Depending on his approval of the decor I will have added at least 2-3 more DIY projects. Thank God for starting early. BTW a couple of post back (I think on this forum) I mentioned that my Fiskars cutting board wire frayed, well I got my new one today from Fiskars (under their warranty) Yay that was quick. So if you ever have something that goes bad from them and there are no replacements parts contact them, it's totally worth it for a new tool I hope everyone's planning is going well!
  16. Hey ndvidul, YAY.. so happy you were able to get your MIBs out, I know that you are so relieved and excited to hear the feedback.. Don't the post office make you feel good? You know that is more than okay ;-) You are such a sweetie as you were so polite to ask in the first place. There are several who I noticed get on my site there without so much of a thanks. I just hope they pay it forward!! You will have tons of bookings don't you worry!!!
  17. You have been a busy busy lady I see. I know that you are breathing a sigh of relief ;-)
  18. jcoke, Do you have any wedding photos of your make-up that you would be willing to post? Thanks so much
