419soon2bebride, Welcome & Happy Planning! There are so many brides on here that have used each of the photographers that you mentioned and all (from my research in choosing a photog) are dynamic in their own right. From the number 1 Del Sol, to La Luna their sister company to Ivan Luckie (my photog of the day) to Claudia and her team. I don't think that you can't go wrong. So, what I did in prep for FI (whose work schedule is crazy) was to narrow down my top five which resembled yours pretty much. From there I read reviews and ranked them. Then contacted each vendor to see what we were getting for the price etc. FI and I are paying for our own wedding and 6 months into our new home...so our budget automatically wouldn't allow us to use some. From there our list grew to 2-3. With packaged being so close with the remaining we then narrowed it down to the wedding day and TTD. In my opinion (which is just that ;-) It's a tough decision but one in that you and FI with the help of the pictures and reviews on this site will have to dig into.

TeeHee tell FI that Loubs are a girls best friend ;-) FI knew from the start when visiting my home for the 1st time (in our dating stage) that I was show lover. Then (before we purchased our first home) I had shoes in my little shoe room but then also have them in my bedroom. I had damn near everything except Loubs, & Manolo's (not a big fan) so he knew it was coming. His words were "you only got 1 pair" LOL ahhh just wait until this wedding is over TeeHee

Awesome! I am going to join his Do Jang after the wedding (when $$$ stop flying out the door) thinking of Jitisu but will look into what you are doing as well. He has started off as a umm lil tiger or something when we moved to Alaska (job related) and then we picked up again after we got settled back in Philly. I love it! He is the type of child that will not start a fight, and will in most likely situations turn away. But after he tells you a few times that you are bothering him all hell breaks loose. TKD boosted his confidence so It doesn't take too many "you are bothering me" anymore but at the same time he knows when and how to use it! It's the best.

Hello and Welcome early bird ;-) It's great that you were able to book this early as MP wouldn't even allow us to book until 1 year in advance. So while, it may be too early for you to book etc.. I would concentrate (suggestion only) as to what you want your decor to look like, what DIY's if any you plan on doing etc. There's so much out there and you have a lot of time. But we all know that planning ahead will save you from a lot of stress and headache.

Well ladies, I purchased something today that is very necessary but has me very sad (I know I'm holding back tears and won't post any icons). I purchased our memorial charm which will have 3 pictures. The pictures will be of my FI's parents and my best friend who is also my Honorary Maid of Honor. She passed away in June of 09' two days before her 37th bday. As I'm fighting back tears, I'm going to sign off for the night. Please keep me in your prayers....I didn't think that I would get this emotional... thanks ladies.

Sophia56, Wow, 110 people that is amazing! Let the unlimited events begin ;-) With that said, I think you guys would be better off doing a fabulous favor versus OOT bags. Your bags unless you stick to the extreme basics will cost a pretty penny. If you do decide to do them, I would definitely distribute them before going. Many brides have done this to defray the cost of lugging stuff down.

Nope.. I think (my personal opinion of course) that looking at your current sketch if you lined the aisle with the material as well as the flowers that would be way too much. However; if you look at your sketch and close off the very top of the aisle (drape material from the last chair on the bride side to the last chair on the groom side) that will force your guest to go to the other way instead of down the center aisle. Once everyone is seated and the bridal party is ready to proceed, the material can be removed and will remain open for the rest of the ceremony.

Show us your wedding dress!

From the day that she (the Real Housewives of ATL) wore this I was like damn that is fly and so beautiful and I still think so today!! I can't wait to see you in this. BTW your friends father is dynamic. I need to come and get some pieces made from him ;-) Seriously Quote: Originally Posted by anudrm My username here is my username pretty much every where, I am not that creative when it comes to things like that. Great minds my fellow MP bride. They are by far the cutest green invention! FI and I decided to send them back because of the color. With the flowers being pink, and the blumebox being pink FI said "where's the blue" And because I am not totally captured by the look I'm sending it back. We are reverting to our original plan (I gather) will reveal after more research ;-) Quote: Originally Posted by beatyea WOW you girls are all so creative! And everything looks wonderful! I'm thinking about using ribbon if I can find a blue that matches and printing the monogram of just our initials on a sticker to put on them

Talking about creativity, you have this pegged! I love the details and the words that can be incorporated throughout your wedding. May I suggest that in order for guest not to kick your rose petals that are placed by the chairs, that you have material hang from one side to another in the back, to block of entrance from that way... this will be removed once it time for the bridal party to walk down the aisle as everyone would be seated. Otherwise great work!

ndvidul, Thanks so much and I barely sleep. I typically average 4-5hrs a night. I know I know but my best work is done at night when all the men folks are sleep, the words that I don't hear are "Chanel can you do this (from my staff) or babe where is, or mom can I" LOL so night work is awesome for me. My day and sometimes evening job depending on what's happening sometimes allows me to have an hour or two early morning to print my things off (I'm the VP of Health Services at a Family Planning Clinic). Although I can print whenever, I choose to only do it in the am so that my staff won't come in with tons and tons of stuff, as there are 30 of them... can you imagine. My CEO would flip out. Definitely PM or email me, I got you covered! I love Staples and Office Max but I always use my Amazon scanner (app) to see if it's cheaper on amazon. Love it. As long as the B&N has a Starbucks we are working with something ;-) FI is so sweet.... but he knows not to mess with my mail LOL Definitely have to get my mail person a giftcard for Christmas.

Yes they will ;-) Can't wait for the new printer at work to be linked with our computers so that we can print. SO much $$ is saved with having the ability to do this. Our guest had fun doing our survey on the beach bags and with the exception of a few older persons most said "no way" so I'm more than confident that these inexpensive (carriers) that will hold all the fly stuff will be grand. Ahhh....
