off by 3 room nights . FI and I thought about decreasing our stay at LeBlanc and increasing MP but we both don't want to do that. We know that we have some definite will books and we were hoping to get a few more just in case some folks backed out at the end. Blah

Hola Fellow Brides, Well 1 of my bridesmaids have to decrease the number of days that she will attend by 1 day & hopefully we can find a roommate for her. (I'm really thankful that with all that just happened that she will still attend). Another bridesmaid decided to book elsewhere because it was cheaper ;-() I have 2 other possible guest that RSVP and send their card back but didn't book yet... I'm mean really just hold on to the darn thing until you are decided. UGHhhhhh So since our invites went out we only added 1 new book. Of course we never knows whose actually going to go until its deadline time. we were really pushing for unlimited events but at least we will get something! Depending on what the final count is, we very well may change the "welcome dinner" to a welcome get together so that we don't have to eat the cost. Enough of me gripping how's everyone's planning coming along

So as I prepare the household for the week, & totally taking advantage of a quite house as they men folk are at the movies, I decided to log on and share a template that I e-mailed to another BDW brides. The template is for "Tears of Joy" packets. Simply print this on white or colored vellum Cut in half (each page can make 2 packets) Grab some tissue (8 packs for $1 at your dollartree) Grab your Martha Stewart all purpose adhesive stick And go to town. FYI after completing the project I did the following: -Cut the sides down so the packets would be nice and petite -printed our name and wedding date on clear labels and added them to the back Happy DIYing and have a great week tears_of_joy_packets[1].pdf

I've noticed that prices dropped some to $498 on some airlines. FI only does straight flights so unfortunately we probably won't save much in this area of expense but I'm still looking. I'm also looking at flights in NJ, MD & NY & weighing the cost difference (if there's anyone) to the time it would take us to get there.

I purchased it from weddingwindow.com after researching tons and tons of site and knowing what I had in mind....this fit the best. We spent more than I expected on a site but we have tons of features: We have the site for 2 years, I can switch and recreate it a thousand times and never loose our information, we have our own domain and email (I just have too many emails to use this one), we get a CD, it's copyrighted etc.. We got it for 2 years so that we can update our photos once we return to include wedding and TTD session. That way we can do a big email blast (this sites track all emails that visits) to let them know our wedding pictures are in. I love that they give you a blocking feature on this site to block emails, IP addresses etc...

TeeHee I see you used our colors! Awesome. 1028 hits and counting and I'm humbled to say that many BDW brides visited our site Thanks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. This alone was truly blood, sweat, beers and re-do's but it was all worth it in the end. The songs you hear now are new on the site (I updated information pre-passports) so those that had visited once would hear something new. The songs before were: Chrisette Michelle- Golden Kem - Share my life My favorite song by Heather Headley and the Anthem to my Hubby to Be "He Is" I forgot what the forth song was.

I know Dallas well team sucks LOL but I would totally move to TX and FI would solely because of the team, so it would be a win-win for me ;-) For his bday next year I'm totally going to send him and his best friend to TX so view the stadium (which is awesome) etc.. so I will totally score major points for that. Haha As far as dress shops, if you have a designer in mind go to that designers page and they will have "location page" you can put in where you are close to, from and they will tell you the stores in the area that carries the dress. From there you can get on the store website and see what other gowns are being carried, hours etc.. and also look up reviews for the store Happy Dress shopping

Hola Chicas ;-) Well packages are still trickling in and I'm still checking off the list of what has been received and what still needs to be purchased or DIYed. Thank goodness the latter two list are dwindling down YAY! There is a light at the end of the "we're spending $ every day or damn near tunnel" LOL So the latest item that has come in are my garters. Not really a big fan of them and despise the garter & bouquet toss but then I found a way to make it fun. Well FI loves the Cowgirls I mean Cowboys Haha.. and I'm a Steelers girl all the way (I went to College in Pgh. started Grad school there, had my son there, etc...so I lived there for a good 10years). We can't stand each other's team and to top it off many of his friends are coming like the Steelers and some the Cowgirls so this will be fun... the end product is pictured below. The left side is the Girls and the right side is the Best Team Ever....The Black and Yellow!
