  1. My love thanks so much for the shout outs! Simply paying it forward ;-) You already received my response via email so I will just say again, from worries to your final proof you did an awesome job. You so keep up the great work! Glad that boss of yours finally left so that you could get to that printers.. Shhhhh ;-)
  2. Merrylee, You did an amazing job! I see that you are tackling your DIY list head on.
  3. Thanks again Summer ;-) Your the best & your template totally rocked so there wasn't much to change at all! You did an awesome job on your jewelry! PRETTY!!!!! And I am sure the ladies will love them. I agree 100%
  4. Hello Dinescumoni and We are so work differently but the main thing that you should start on whether you purchase or pay (as I did) are your Save the Dates (STDs) and ideas for your invites. Also a wedding website which has been beneficial for most. For many of us we sent out our STD a year in advance to get folks ready for what is coming ahead. Then followed by (newsletters, brochures for up to date info), and then the Invitation. I sent ours out 6 months to the date of our wedding & 1/ 1/2 month before the deadline to book. Hope this helps
  5. Jamie, Don't get yourself upset over those that will not come! With the economy things are harder for most than it was before, and some most be cautious as they may not know what is coming ahead. But others (I have witnessed this) truly spend spend spend and then say "I'm broke" either way don't let them steal your joy! You will still be a stunning & beautiful bride regardless of who comes. And when those that came start talking to those that didn't they will be sure to regret not partaking in your most FAB day.
  6. I'm going to start using that "What the French Toast" I got the one that comes with the silver box (Making Memories) it had all kind of stuff in there. Stuff that I still don't know how to use but I guess one day it (whatever the tools are called) will come in handy.
  7. Girl I use my cutting pad (although small) that I got for the eyelet setter ;-) that things has so many marks in it. FI keeps calling me gadget lady.. But at least I know to expect gadgets and such for xmas.... as bdays are all about trips ;-)
  8. CORRECTION In my post, post # 2040, I had given credit for our "Thank you for Booking" brochure to Sdamian1. Although I love her to pieces, all of the CREDIT, ACCOLADES, THANKS, PRAISES and JOB WELL DONE, Belongs to SummerDawn. SummerDawn, please accept my heartfelt apology!
  9. Thanks Ladydi Yes indeed! Not to sure if you have seen our STDs & Passports... everything has been created around the butterfly. The butterfly in reference to our love is the symbol of transformation because of its impressive process of metamorphosis. And reminds us that the just as the butterfly undergoes an enormous amount of change we too will & the result will be Beautiful! The butterfly is a resurrection, transition & celebration. With this he had no problem ;-) I love fiskars & Martha (but hers does't do what I need it to) so had to get the one you mentioned.
  10. Thanks! Of course iPhone pics doesn't do it justice but hey the phone is always available LOL Can't wait to get home & do some cutting. FI's Bday is tomorrow so there will be no DIYing
  11. Good Morning Loves, Well I have been a busy beaver @ work printing since 6:45a. This gave me until 8 am to print. I started with the easy things first, and then tried (successfully) my hand at something new. So, with this Friday and last, I am now finished printing all of the items that I had in my external hard drive marked "DIY Finished but not Printed" and was able to move these files to my "Finished DIY" folder. Here are pictures of some of the easy projects that I had to print out. Several Items not shown Our Guest DND signs (pictures of front and back), & our Re-Print of our 1st Aid Kits (last week the butterflies were flying off the page LOL;-) My new printing project consisterd of our Welcome Booklet (will not show). But what I did that I have never done before was to cut the paper first instead of after. I only did 2 sheets and it came out perfect. So now I will pre-cut all of our pages for the welcome book before printing. Then I will come in early on a Friday to print this out. Since our booklet is 8 pages, this will be the only thing that I print that morning. TGIF & Happy DIYing
  12. FYI if you decide to go with Moon Palace or would like to browse tons of information head on over to the Moon Palace 2012 brides (WE would love to welcome you) and answer any questions that you may have. Happy Planning
  13. Welcome and yes the Chapel at MP (Moon Palace) can accommodate up to 80-90 and is air conditioned.
  14. Your the best all the way around! Thank you for being the best vendor that I have worked with for our upcoming nuptials. Keep up the dynamic work and you know "I'll be back" in my Arnold (can't even begin to spell his last name) Voice. ;-)
  15. Thanks so much, she is totally awesome! I don't know what's in your budget but I have become a big fan of her work and will promote here wherever I can. I honestly don't recall talking to you about stones...but I purchased several items from Chelsea which I posted on this forum and others. Chalk it up to my head and not my heart.
  16. Hello dzaccaria & Let's start from the bottom-up shall we ;-) I would highly suggest that you contact Moon Palace either through the their website (wedding request) and or by phone to determine when you can book. For the 2012 we actually had to wait until Jan 2012 to book so I'm not sure if this would apply for 2013 or if they changed. MP does change things quite often as you will see. For a complimentary wedding, there is no deposit however; when you fill out the form you will have to supply a credit card number. As far as TA's (Travel Agent's) this will vary from bride to bride. For myself, I took into consideration that I have "older guest coming" who want to be able to see & go to take their money to an individual. Since this includes family members we used my FI's TA who he dealt with for every trip that he has ever taken. Some used Wright Travel Agency which is a great vendor on this site. I highly suggest checking out MP 2010, and 2011 Bride Forum as well.
  17. Whew, just when I think that I am finished posting for the day, I am surprised by yet another FAB item. Red-i By Chelsea has done it again! I can go on and on about Chelsea's great customer service, attention to detail, unique custom ideas, beautiful spirit etc. However, I would be so redundant from my previous post and review of her work. So to KISS (Keep it Sweet and Simple) I will simply post the pictures. I welcome the Marrakesh Infinity Bracelet to my current TTD collection of Barefoot Jewels.
  18. These were sent out last week to those that already booked. Upon others booking, I will immediately send these out. Since, we ordered extra custom stamps from Zazzle for our passport invites, we will use these on the brochure (yeah for extras). Happy DIYing
  19. Hello my fellow MP Brides & Guest In moving my wedding files around on my external hard drive, I noticed that I didn't post the "Thank You for Booking" brochure. But first let me say that this was TOTALLY, & AWESOMELY the brainchild of Sdamian1, Thank you/Muchas Gracias! So with that said, I changed somethings around (totally left the format as is) and viola! I added a magnet that I had ordered months ago from vistaprint (I was going to send these in our pre-travel packet, but FI and I came up with another idea.) So without further ado, here you go. 20. You did an excellent job! This website is amazing isn't it. FYI on the toolbar if you move over two to the left) of the safety pin you will be able to upload the image to appear in your text. That way for those that do not have the ability to download post yet, they will be able to view what you posted. Happy DIYing
