  1. Summer12, They are gone gone gone They did their wrap up session at 12p so I was able to enjoy my lunch. No major corrections but as you said, you will never have one that is "correction free". We got a heads up by our Lab Courier that CLIA is up next... Whew... you know how they just like to show up.. But are PREPARED.... just dreading to get hit at all 6 sites in a single day.. Ouch... Oh well..... I'm going to have BIG drink when FI comes home... Thanks for the comment.. was thinking about starting the cutting process.. I have 2 hrs before FI comes home. Hmmmm
  2. I know I have a list in my book LOL I actually started planning (STDs, Invites in Dec with contact to Sarah from Sprouille Designs). From there, I started researching, making notes, gathering inspirations pics etc...But I also set a goal for myself to have certain portions completed etc.. by certain dates (My son has crazy amounts of homework that average between 1 1/2 to 3 hrs a night, plus his activities) so I had to have major stuff stuff. So now I can work on those things that I can take my time on.... But I also want to be done done done by Christmas which is 1 month behind schedule for me. The holidays are huge for us and with work we are implementing a new computer system so with 6 clinics that I oversee I dare not do anything but pay off stuff in Jan. Mentally I know that I will not be able to do.
  3. What do you have left? I have menus, escort cards, table numbers & programs. Then I'm done done done.
  4. TGIF! Although my Friday's (since the new copier was installed) has been welcomed with open arms. Today was no exception! Per my last post, I made it to work at 6:35 and warmed up my Canon Guy as he was in for a long hall. We had a brief discussion about paper getting stuck and he listened for the most part. Only 1 stuck cardstock. He did pre-warm me that it will take him longer to print card stock than regular paper and boy was he correct. IT took him roughly 35 minutes to print 50 pages of card stock (although thick) but again he did an amazing job. Being the Type A person that I am when it comes to planning, I stayed up until 12 am making a page 2-3 of the welcome book (I wanted my coming in early not to be in vain). So page 2 is the "welcome to Cancun" standard welcome found on BDW with a few additions and deletions, followed by a schedule of events. As these were on a lighter paper it took him about 15 minutes per set of 25 (doubled sided-short edge). So there I was at 7:55a done and contemplating on what to do next. So I started working on page 4....well the design... but now it's time to start my work day. Enjoy my Fellow Brides and as alwyas, HAPPY DIYing
  5. All at Target for $0.97 although I had to visit 2 different stores for a total of 55 boxes. Dollar Tree had them as well however; not in the quantity that I needed and I saved 3 cents each LOL
  6. Hey my lovely anudrm, Sometimes I will do it in one sitting if I have a beer LOL I received your email and responded... YOU GO GIRL!!!!
  7. Well ladies, 2 days down and 1 more to go before the State Surveyors are GONE My staff and I are in pretty good shape with a few minor corrections, some of which will be completely eliminated with the implementation of electronic health record late 12'. But with that said, I'm exhausted but managed to find some energy to bling out our Guest DND signs. Because I was already tired to start, I dared not to venture on the path to cutting. I will conquer this tomorrow. So without further ado here are our guest signs.. I have 20 of these pages to cut (I always do extra just in case). Not all of them look the same as far as the bling.. Some have bling inside the S, or the colors are reversed etc.. Happy DIYing PS I found out today, that if I send documents from the computer to my printer friend, he accepts the items face-up (excluding labels.) However; if you are in his company trying to print he takes the documents face-down. I told you his a$% is bipolar. But I love my (oooppsss- my work) Canon Printer Guy... stay tuned, I'm going in the office tomorrow at 6:30 to print the cover of our welcome booklet. I already pre-cut all 50 card stock pages...so NO cutting afterwards.. YES.... Nite
  8. Awe congrats on becoming an Aunite! Besides have a wonderful addition to the family, you know that your brother and sister-in-law would have been there for your BIG day. I agree with Chelsea in that you should definitely give them an OOT bag and while you are at it through a little bib in there....;-)
  9. Love the magnets! The good thing about destination weddings is that no one expects OOT bags and the like. So no worries! Your dress is beautiful!! (we will all need a good steam by the time we hit Mexico;-) Way to go on the check check check list And please don't every worry about long post....We will read anything you post
  10. You know my printer friend was trying to act up on me on Monday! I think although new, he's a little bipolar. Sometimes he wants me to put labels face up, then other times face down. But on this particular day, he just totally was like I'm going to get this paper jammed. He knows very damn well that I only had 15 minutes before my boss came in (usually but this day she chose to show up but I didn't know she wasn't coming in, so I'm manic). Then my work mom came over and said "oohhhh you better hurry up" She didn't know that our boss wasn't coming in either. Low and behold 2 minutes before my boss was typically do, all fixed... We find out about 15mins later that she wasn't coming in. I was made at him for the rest of the day... but since he allows me to USE him up... I totally forgave him and told him "I'll be back" in my Arnold S voice... he's getting a big break because the State Surveyors will be there till Friday so I know that he will be ready for me next week to do some heavy printing (if I'm finished our welcome book). Stay tuned for the "Adventures of the New but now gently Used, Work Printer at Chanel's Job" Whew It's time for me to go to bed.. Nite ladies
  11. Chelsea is simply AMAZING!!!!!!!! Go Chelsea Thanks Chelsea I am too excited! we are currently having our yearly audit from the State but once they are outta here on Friday.. I can get back to printing ;-) CHEESE.. I decided to redo our Guest DND signs as when I compared them to the ones that I did for Derick and I, they are way to light. Glad I had some extra paper to spare and printing well is free ;-)
  12. Awe that are too nice.. Love that your daughter will have a set. Go Chelsea!!!
  13. Thanks...these were my practice ones. I know how to cute them correctly now and perfectly round the corners. Girl all of these tools is like taking a class LOL
  14. These are great & so different. We are wedding color buddies! Happy Planning
  15. Hey Ladies, Last Friday, I posted the print-outs for our 1st Aid Kit. Well, since I took off a week of DIYing I just wanted to share the beginning results of putting these labels on. Disclaimer as always ;-) I'm using my iPhone.
  16. Exactly, T's aren't a bad idea, I just don't want it at the welcome dinner. I would rather not have them at all, only because when I was in my cousins wedding (10/10) she had T's in her welcome bag.... some didn't fit others, they had to trade etc.. and then after all that drama the only folks that had them on was the wedding party. Besides they were itchy as hell No matter how many times I washed the damn thing its still itchy. I would much rather take the same $ and get something else.
  17. Baahhaaaaa okay so I am with your FI on one thing.. in that I would like the men to stand with him at the alter and the bridesmaids walk down on their own... SHOW OFF Those dresses I paid for (vain I know lol). FI wants them to all walk down together.... I'll let this settle down for now. Then, I will talk to him when he is playing the playstation 3...
  18. Hey Summer, Welcome back I see that you were able to get some things done which is always AWESOME! I am going to email IIiana about the CD player because if this is insane. I have got a few things done in the past couple weeks... pictures to come shortly! I also ordered my real touch flowers so fingers crossed they turn out well as it is an etsy seller's first sale! Makes me scared but she gave me a killer deal that I couldnt refuse! Plus I will be using the flowers in my package so it is just the bridesmaids flowers! Did I read correctly that they are saying you can no longer use the CD player for a beach ceremony??? I will fight this because the website totally did not say that when I booked.... Has anyone taken this up with their coordinator yet??
  19. But that's cute since your FI likes shirts and it has become knows about it. My crazy all of a sudden wants to participate LOL And his contribution T-shirts. I don't mind T-shirts but I would rather put them in the welcome bag and they can wear them if and when they want then at the welcome dinner. Maybe I can pitch your idea of them wearing them on the plane. Maybe it will help them get through customs quickly
  20. Hey Ladies, Okay so FI wants to get T-shirts for all of our guest to wear at the welcome dinner. I think this idea totally blows/sucks etc..and think it is generic. NOTE: please do not take offense if you are doing this.. this is simply not my cup of tea. Anyway I'm on the hunt for ideas...totally do not plan on spending any massive amount of time on this as I simply "don't want to do it" and we are giving them a lot of goodies anyway. So any gender neutral ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.
  21. Hola Chicas, I am gathering up all of our items to double check to see what we have and what we need and I came across my 1st pair of "bridal shoes" that I purchased. Since we have changed our colors way back when it seems, I no longer need these shoes (I own them in black). So, I am selling these Badgley Mischka's Blue Satin Hyde Pump size 8 1/2 which boast a 3 1/2 wrapped heel for $80.00 + shipping. I will ship to Canada. PM me in interested:
  22. Anudrm, Aren't you the best with assisting other brides while you are on your COUNT DOWN! You are the best and definitely give meaning to "Pay it Forward" Now finish up your projects I don't want to have to send you an email groomsmen - teal2.pdf groomsmen - teal1.pdf
  23. Are you going to post a picture of your shirts?
