I didn't leave cause I never went in....He got out of the car, I slide over to the driver side and waited for 2-3minutes until he called me to let me know how long the wait would be. So I had a quick plan of attack to get what I needed for the menus. As this is the last major thing that I have to print besides the programs. When he called, I just got out of line and it literally took me 5 minutes to get back. This Michaels is my first love but it's at least 20 minutes from my house.. but they have everything I can dream of. The Michaels that just opened by my house (I can actually walk and I'm not a walker) is best for quick things but I find that if you need to get paper in bulk...it's so not it. So I took advantage of being up that way...

Anudrm, You know the punch is from my girl Martha. Large Monarch Butterfly Punch for $12.99 at our favorite store Michaels and with my 50% off coupon like Tony the Tiger "It's Great" It takes 3 butterflies to make 1 3D butterfly.. so I had to punch 150 butterflies out. The only thing about this punch is that it is hard.. I mean stand up type strength required and I'm pretty strong.. Merrylee, how are you? Great news about your soon to be sister-in-law... I bet your pictures came out very nice, I can't wait to see those that you post. All is pushing right along on this end, I was up planning until early morning but I was just thinking that if more people keep adding on (which is great) we will have to change our welcome dinner location I gather. So far we have 47 adults and 3 children. At first I was freaking out because I thought I had to put together more OOT bags, but then I realized I'm doing 1 per couple and 1 for each single... glad we have more couples than singles as I counted that we will need 26 bags so far. The kids are getting "kid related bags" so my prep of 50 is still okay... Even though we qualify for unlimited now, we don't plan on adding any more events. It's just great to know that will not have to pay for the welcome dinner etc.. Happy Planning

Well ladies, It is another great morning as I just finished a major DIY project for our reception (pictures to come in Final Planning Thread). Now that this part is done, I can move on to our menus etc.. I decided that I will stay home today to work on a few projects as my days to take off are dwindling drastically and the holidays are drawing near. I think that this is a loaded question for some However; I do plan on selling my dress after the wedding and TTD. I highly doubt that I will regret it afterward as I will have a ton of pictures from our wedding, videos and the like. In addition, I will have my sash turned into jewelry by the famous Chelsea, of Red-i by Chelsea. This alone will allow me to always have a tangible piece of our wedding (besides the hubby ;-). My saying "YES" to the dress was an amazing experience because I also met my designer Lazaro. In addition, he sketched me in my dress & signed it which I will have framed and hung in our house. Lastly, I have a male child so I definitely won't be passing this down to him but even though I will gain a daughter from our union who is currently 19, style change so very much that it is she wouldn't want it. Besides, I would want her to have that very special moment when she finds her own just as I did. So with all that said, I plan to sell, sell, sell

Joke of the day... (not really but I cried laughing) I received a text this morning from my soon to be step daughter who doesn't have a passport that said "Ms. Chanel, do you know what time my flight is because I'm trying to meet up with Dom (my soon to be niece who is in the service in Japan) so that we can fly in together." My response "Insert name here____, you do not have a flight or a room simply because you do not have a passport. As stated before in the many updates etc..you need a passport before we book anything for you because if you don't hold up your end and we would have prepaid & lost our money. This is simply not happening. But of course you thought I was "bothering" with the updates... Her response "ok" I was and kindly let FI know when he came home. His response "Okay, well maybe she will get up off her ass and get it. I'm tired of her and her mom with this craziness so either she is there or she isn't." Enough said as the man of the house SPOKE....

Whew... Chelsea.. I had to run out the door... LOL Umm when he said "I'm your momma's friend and she is in good hands" I quickly handed the phone back. TOOOOOO MUCH Information (TMI) beatyea there's no pictures See you should have talked to the printer and rubbed him. But he would have been jealous if FI was around.. LOL Can't wait to see

Well ladies, Another productive Friday. I feel like DIYing especially since our list has grown! So, I'm taking advantage of the fact that FI has to be to work at 4am in the morning. So, I decided to conquer the task of putting our Welcome Book together. It was only fitting especially since I got to work at 6:30am to finish printing the last 6 pages of the book. FI even helped by punching holes in each of the booklets so that I could place the brads in them (decided against the eyelets at the last moment).

Happy Happy Friday Ladies! Well after taking off to get pampered at the Symplicity (my natural hair care salon), I went to my grandma's house because she moved up on the world. I upgraded her to an iPhone. haha.. so I had to take 2 hrs to show her how to work it... not bad for a 73yrs young hot momma.. who later showed me that she knows how to work her phone by calling her man friend in North Carolina.. somethings I just don't want to hear.. LOL So after coming home, I get a message from our TA that we had another booking.. YAY.... 22 rooms booked and 86 room nights... can you say glasses up. In addition, we received 2 more RSVPs stating that they are coming, although they haven't officially booked. God is so good! Have a great weekend!
