We are definitely looking forward to the dog...this will be fun! I can go on and on about giving, yet; we must teach our children responsbility. This current generation is all about entitlement and they don't have a damn thing. She's entitled to start looking for a freaking job.... okay woosah I need to find my positive Chi. Well I'm headed off work to get my hair done, this will make me feel better. Quote: Originally Posted by ladydi1844 Have fun getting your dog. They eventually grow up and mature and in the meantime you just have to try not to kill them lol. Make your stand but don't let it bum you out over the holidays - it's a time for giving and joy Thanks Chelsea, I really appreciate the kind words ;-)

Happy Hump Day Ladies, Well today unlike many others I did not wake up early to print. I just didnt' have it in me espeically since FI and I had a big disagreement over the Christmas gift that he is getting for his daughter that I don't think is necessary or warranted, especially since she still don't have nor nowhere in the process of getting her passport. So to me the cost of the gift simply screams "okay no matter the fact that you are giving me your to kiss, & that you don't care to be apart of the biggest day of our life, I will get you a gift that you truly don't deserve." I am so annoyed to say the least. So, I'm done wedding planning for a minute and yes, I went home and packed everything up and put it in the back room so the dining room which was my work station looks very bare (so much so that my son when he came home from school said "mom where's the wedding stuff.") Anyway, I won't have much to post over the next few weeks as I don't plan on doing anything. On a brighter note This morning when I opened my email, the lovely Chelsea from Red-i said that she finished my wedding day necklace and earrings and that she will send me a picture later today. Also, I received a sneak peak from an Etsy vendor of our cake server and forks... She's going to engrave them & have these babies in the mail. anyway,so excited for next weekend as my son and I will be off to find our new addition to our family. I can't wait to have a dog.. Talk to you later.

LiaLoooves, Welcome to the forum! No you don't have to use these collections you can simply use the Complimentary Collection and bring your own decor if you wish. Or contact Zuniga/Deco Cancun and contract with them to decorate. I've looked on the website and saw the packages and am not pressed even after all the hype. To me, its pretty much new decor with the same stuff offered in the old packages but with the request for more money. I would contact them as I am sure that they will still have the old packages for those that already booked. This is to cute.. Loving the Theme! YAY you know I'm loving these especially since these are our colors ;-) No need for kidding, I know that I can be a bit Anal , but the good thing is I typically only drive myself crazy and not others. (Let me tell it) I've been pretty much hammering things out because of my crazy schedule. But believe you me there are many days where I don't want to do crap wedding related.

I narrowed down 6 breeders all who seem to be okay... you know I'm a bit Type A so I'm trying to narrow down the 6. I will do that by Wed and then make some calls. I have a pretty busy weekend so I would like to set things up for next weekend. The lil man is so excited, and I am excited for him as he always wanted to be a big brother however, I didn't want and then it became to I could not have anymore children. So when he asked for a dog, (and he is such a good kid), I couldn't resist! I always wanted a dog too growing up and my mom wouldn't let me have one. So I'm probably more excited than he is. And BTW there was no and I mean NO update from FI.... so that means nothing happened. I printed off page 3 of our programs and I will do page 1 tomorrow. Page 2 (with everyones name) will be printed on Friday so she has until then. There will be no reprints even if she gets it or my cousin decides to join. I waited long enough and on Monday morning, my printer love will have passcode which will count what each department uses.. And I am not paying for printing!

I am so laughing at FI, you go! BTW I spoke with a Vizsla breeder and it was by far a great conversation that includes tons of questions on both ends. These breeders do not play with their Vizsla. In either case, we both determined that at present this is not the type of dog for our household. This dog does not do well alone at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even in the house he/she will follow you from room to room and want to be up under someone ALL of the time. This won't work for no no one in our house especially given our schedules. It wasn't even enough that we would have someone come over during the day while we are at work. So while attractive and considered to be very healthy and clean, they cling. Chipmunk, Thank you so very much for responding, I really appreciate it. We are going to get a boxer! Any words of boxer wisdom that you would like to pass on, I am all ears.

Haha that's funny... now check this out I was talking to my FI's sister (who works with animals) and she said while boxers are a great dog, but have heart problems. she has seen them as young as 2 and older coming in with heart disease, tumors etc... Ugh... so while the Boxer is still a top runner she has recommended a dog called the Vizsla which is a descendant of the Weirmarner. They are very pretty, active, family dogs and get this, they are one of the healthiest dogs out there. So, I showed FI he likes what he sees. I told my son about it (he is over his gradmas) so when he comes home tomorrow I will show him the information, videos that I found and we will go from there. But it will be between these 2 dogs as I think either or can offer what each of us need as a household. So, today I'm going to research the breeders that I found for the Boxers and start looking for breeders for the Vizsla. Stay tuned lol

This story is so heart felt and FI was reading right along with me. I am so glad that things worked out and your parents & siblings will get to share in your wedding day! If his parents thought that your parents weren't hard working etc.. I'm quite sure he would not have offered to pay for them. We all have a bit of bad luck from time to time but knowing that there are still people (Family members no less) that are there to help, willing is an honor. FI knows the value of your parents as he asked to marry you! In time as ndvidul said, he and his family will get to know them as well. Happy Happy that you are still a MP bride! What great in-laws you have!!!!

Morning and TGIF! Well here's an update from my week! Moving with one of my BM's on Monday & Tuesday was a success. Back to work Wednesday early morning to print our brochures & Christmas passport (Completely done)...YAY! Thursday printed our postcards but, I had to do a few more so came in early again today to print. Which the first batch of 13 were ruined because I didn't select the right cardstock setting so it smudged.. so the reprint was successful. So at 7am I found myself done with approximately 45 minutes or so before 2 of my staff would arrive. So, I took advantage of the time and played around with printing (regular paper) our program which will be added to our raffia fans. So, after reformating the picture etc.. I did a test print and I'm ready to get those bad boys done. So over the weekend I will pre-cut my paper to save time on the back-end, and this will also give my future Stepdaughter/BM time to apply for her passport (for those that know that story, her godfather said that the would take her Saturday. But until I get notice that she actually went, things still remain the same). The deadline for my stepdaughter and cousin was 12/1 (previous post about this), however; I still haven't heard from my cousin but yesterday FI told me about his daughter & godfather which is his best man..so at least I got word on the date of the deadline (I smiled). The light at the end of the tunnel is that our programs are the last BIG batch of printing that I will have to do. Anything else will be in small quantities where I don't have to get up super early (YAWN). My last two things that I will have to print are our escort cards, and cards for our guestbook. Oh... I don't go until the 9th to try on my dress. They don't have fittings on the weekend ;-() and M-Th it's only in the evenings (that does't work for my evening schedule) so I go on the 9th at 10am... and my damn sash still isn't in... WTH Last but not least, my son and I finally narrowed down the type of dog that he wants and that I deam safe for him which is the boxer. So exciting. I have narrowed down several breeders in PA & NJ so I will do my research on each of them over the weekend and then make appointments for us to visit etc... So he will have his dog a little before Christmas ;-) Have a great weekend ladies

Morning Ladies, As promised, here are the pictures from my early morning printing! Unfortunately, I will have to print tomorrow as my printer friend decided that he wanted to do some smudging. And since I went against my golden rule of brining the entire pack of paper, I didn't have any extra. So tomorrow I will have to print 15 more (I always make extra for cutting errors, to save for myself & to keep as samples just in case ;-). Anyway, the back of the postcards are the same for all as pictured below, the front have 5 different variations (I had 6 but didn't care for the picture once printed.) I wanted to do something vibrant to get everyone excited! This postcard will be sent out the first of the year to remind persons of the final payment due on Feb 3rd and about their passports. These print 2 to a page so I printed 5 sheets of each with the exception of my absolute FAVE which I will print 10 sheets of... I'm biased as it has our colors LOL Back of postcards (these print with 2 on each page) Front of Postcards this 1 is my favorite as I found something with our exact colors... Love the internet.. I added the words of course ;-)

Thanks Ladies! FI came in and saw the days wedding work that took place at work and said "Where did you order these from" he was speaking of the brochures that I made... I said HELLOOOOO where have you been, I made these and printed them at work.. he said "damn you are really picking up on this Do it yourself stuff".. I said DIY he said "what" I was anyway, I showed him the "sample" Mexican themed postcards that I will print off tomorrow and he approved. I did 6 different templates which all have the same wording just different pictures. Since some folks like our hello kitty family have 3 different addresses I just didn't want them to all get the same one. I will take a picture as always, once I am done printing them at work and then when I cut them out at home. BTW I don't get my dress until the 9th. They actually only do try-on's of your dress when they have 4 people in the shop. 2 of those persons are dedicated to help you and the other 2 take care of other folks. The only sad part is that my grandma and mom, along with everyone else will be at work so I may take one of my staff just to take pictures as the appointment is at 10am and my job is literally 15 minutes away from the Bridal Salon. Well I'm signing off for now as we are going to see Happy Feet. Nite ladies

Hola Chicas, Well here are the final "Christmas" boarding passes. A big to Palacebride as she advised me of a grammatical error! Thanks so very much! So I quickly did a reprint (no big job since it was only one of these). For the 35 Year old who will kick rocks at kids to get to Hello Kitty....Truly I don't understand For the 40 year old who loves Hello Kitty but her daughter is the ultimate fan....

Morning Lovely Ladies, Well moving 1 of my BM's was a success over the last two days! It was great hanging out with her as we were able to catch up, talk about high school stuff.. etc.. So I'm back at work & got in here at 6:30a so that I could..... PRINT Over the last two days, I decided not to do boarding pass pre-travel info & to do brochures instead. So I essentially took all the information from the boarding pass & did a brochure in publisher. I made 60 of these on photo paper to give it the shine. I also printed the boarding passes & covers for my work mom. I'll definitely upload better pictures once all assembled but for now here are a few that I took at work after printing. Of course these are my iphone pictures.. (I can't wait until the wedding is over as I have to upgrade my gadgets ;-) The girls both love Hello Kitty. 1 loves Bling and Shoes (1st one.. I will add bling) , the other loves teddy bears etc... I didn't deviate the styles much because although grown they still argue over who gets what from their parents so at my work mom's request I kept things pretty similar.
