Not a silly questions at all. But, I couldn't answer without trying it out first LOL. The answer is NO. It stops right at the point where you are suppose to seal/ziploc it shut. However; it's not exposed as the extra plastic covers it.

The dresses are cute and I agree very tropical but, from the look of your BM's face, she isn't too happy. I wore this very same/similar dress in black minus the sash at my cousin's wedding in 2010. It was October and comfortable, but I truly couldn't image the material for the beach. IMO if you aren't paying for your bridesmaids dresses, then I think it is only fair that they have some NOT ALL say in what they wear. If they aren't paying for them and you are footing the cost, then that trumps their opinions in some manner.

Oh my friend, do fret I know that you will work it out. Definitely assemble the bags when you are there (the main reason I asked the bridal party to get there Wed or Thurs.) That way your contents, especially the bags can lay flat. Also, not to put all the burden on your and FI, see if your daughter would take a suitcase and/or any other person that will be there at least a day or 2 before the wedding. As far as menu choices FI and I picked the International menu, as we thought it would give the best fit to our guests. Nevertheless, there is always the 24hr room service ;-) that will be a fail safe for those picky picky persons.

Laura1220 I see that your wedding date is in 2013 so I truly wouldn't plan on hearing from someone immediately. However; knowing that communication is SLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW.... I would start to put your questions together by category: i.e. Welcome dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour etc.. under each of these start listing your questions. That way when you do hear from your new person you can shoot them an email and have everything documented! We have a phrase that we use in our health centers and it goes like this "If it wasn't documented it wasn't done." Verbal carries little weight in many daily processes. Good luck to you
