  6. Add-on Well, as best I tried to remember everything I didn't. Please charge it to my end of the road transition from planning to packing ;-) Here are my flower girl bags. My FG's are 3 & 4 years old which, so I wanted to keep things the same as much as possible as they will be sitting at the same table. I love my little babies but they are spoiled and not just from me. So the "I want this, etc.." should be limited as they have the same things. most of the items were purchased from Michaels & Target with a few things being found at Burlington Coat Factory & Marshalls. Their bags Their little lunch boxes/purses filled with goodies And everything all together. I also have Coloring books with stickers that will be at their tables during the reception. It will hopefully keep them busy if they are not dancing. Here is the shell that my son will carry our rings in. This and the shells that FI and I will pour our sand from (mentioned earlier) were purchased from: conchking.com My son the ring bearer shell. The inspiration Photo that sparked me to find the shell ;-) FI & I shell x2, I didn't unwrap the other. I'm not to sure where I purchased the stands from. Another BDW bride was going to sell me hers but she only had one. I'm quite sure I have the email buried somewhere. Our Reception table numbers. Hand painted numbers and bases which I purchased from Michaels. I used Martha Stewarts craft paints. These will be assembled in Mexico with Gorilla Glue Our DIY cocktail hour menus, & stirrers (I made 75), along with our purchased napkins
  7. LOL, Once I start to pack everything this weekend, I'll be sure to take pictures. I simply forgot to take pictures of a few things when putting them away & moving on. I have quite a few singles who are bringing "friends", couples & newlyweds. So my naughty nite kits include: 4 condoms, 2 dental dams, 2 lubes & 2 VCF films. The saying is. "here's a little something to get you through the nite, so if your gonna do it, do it " Wright" Wright will be my new last name so i tried to incorporate that into many things/sayings. 8. 1 year of planning to be exact.. I sacrificed a lot of weekends but it was all worth it. Most of my BM"s were out of town so no big DIY parties.. but my Alcohol, music and BDW always kept me company. Happy Planning and remember to capture you and your's FI vision... Congrats to you. Indeed! We went June 11th but when they said he was coming in August (even though they were still going to give me the discount), I said I will come back. And indeed I did. I invited my MOH and BM down. I had my make-up artist come over to the house the morning of; we had breakfast and got all dolled up. Prior to I had ordered sample dresses from Two Birds in NY. As one was getting her make-up done, someone was trying the dress on. End result, they liked the style and versatility and was super excited that they could wear the dress again. The plus was that although they had the same dress on, no one would look the same! They were sold! Yet, the material was not right. Off went went! Butter by Nadia dressed the end-result. I was able to get 20% off at our local store called KiKi Hughes on South Street (YAY). Here they are, playing dress up at the shop. Kiki and her Mother-in-law were simply fabulous. 19. First, I must say a special shout out to the women of the Moon Palace 2012 Brides forum. We have truly gone through ups, downs, highs, and lows. Thank you for trusting me enough to share, an allowing me to vent and even at times hog the thread. To my forever friends: Shane, Diane, Kelly, Jamie, & Steph, words cannot express the gratitude that I have for this site not only because of the wealth of information but for the contact and blooming friendship that I have with you. XOXO Okay, Derick and I met in March 2009. My best friend & I had gone out for the evening at a place called NXNW for Old School Fridays. I had been on medical leave for 3 months and was confined to the house or on short outings. I was headed back to work that Monday, so I needed to let loose. Got there, and we met up with some other friends who had a table, so we sat with them. At the end of the table, standing was a guy who was moving to the music. I was in my seat moving. He nodded, I got up, and we danced the night away. Our friendship grew but more so, when my best friend ended up in the hospital and a few days later passed away. FI, was there from beginning to end and from there (in my pain, misery, confusion, etc.. he never let me go.) Okay, I’m going to stop here as tears are in my eyes. Whew Before I go any further, I most honor My FI’s mother and father both of who are deceased. In addition, as I explained above my best friend. They will be close to us as I purchased a memorial chain that will act as my bouquet charm. This was purchased from an Etsy Vendor DesignsbyTami. This process was hard and made me cry, but Tami was wonderful to work with. Back Rings: Although I’m a diamond baby born in April, I like colored bling. Which confused the hell out of my FI..so I had a temporary ring until he researched TeeHee. The end result My Ring a vivid blue sapphire, his a Tungsten We decided on a DW because FI’s family is super large. In addition, between both of our friends and my sorority, there was NO way in Hell that we could afford a wedding with 300 people. Mexico was easy as we were supposed to go there for my Birthday, however; FI had started a new position within his company. Moon Palace simply because of its beauty and benefits.
