  1. Awesome!!!! Way to go on the 75 room nights. Although Zuniga says you have to put either a 40 or 60% deposit down, you do not!! The amount will be billed to your room. I'm using them. As far as packing, all wedding related items have been backed since last week. Bridesmaids picking up 2 bags this weekend & my uncle will take my candy and shot glasses. My son is packed. My last day at work is Thursday so I'll be shopping for myself Friday & Saturday and will be packed by Saturday night!! I will recheck to make sure i have everything (again) on Sunday, running around Monday and outta here Tuesday morning:-) Whew I haven't heard anything about that. I would email Smile Market & ask them. If you need a contact let me know & I can send it to you. I have been speaking with Lupita but she hasn't mentioned payment. I will certainly be asking tomorrow. As far as Zuniga goes I believe you put a deposit down & the rest is added to your hotel bill. Update*****we hit 75 nights today!!!! We had 2 couples change their bookings to out travel agent & then one of the groomsmen reserved. So freakin excited right now! Going to have to switch gears now & decide what we would like as far as events! We are 59 days out. We are getting our engagement photos taken this weekend so I'm pretty excited about that too. SummerDawn can't wait to see how things go for you! Congrats! Coco are you done packing yet? Loved the planning thread. I'm borrowing parts of your brochure & mochamakes3's to finish mine out. Can't wait to see all the pics of the "Wrights" on the big day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Selina, I remember it was you who said "Coco, don't be drinking and planning" Girl it was my better moments under the influence of Hennessey that I was sane, calm and pumped out some work. When I was sober I made the deserts versus desserts mistake on the reception menus and was like "I be damned if I do those over" got out of bed and simply cut off the bottom and reshaped them LOL... Haha... I'm over here dying. Those were the moments and I am so, so glad you and BDW where here to share those with. Talk to you soon girly ;-) How's Little Miss P and her shoe collection ;-)
  3. I love love love what you have done for your wedding! Very pretty and perfect! congrats
  4. Your Welcome and thanks so much for the compliments. I had to email him several times prior to him responding but don't give up. Remember we are talking about "our time culturally and theirs" So it definitely calls for a little cultural sensitivity, Patience and persistence ;-) OH and Woosahhh's LOL You will.....
  5. Hola, Marvin's email is [email protected] Suggestion make sure you have something in the subject field stating orders and wedding so that if he goes to Spam he will know it doesn't belong there. FYI his turnaround time is not the best, so in your email send your suggestions/pictures and an idea of what you want. This will make sure your commuincations go a lot faster. coco
  6. I sent a detailed email to them which included the link for both the pre-set or the custom, I included the color and the order that we did for FI. I advised them to pay via paypal versus their credit cards. I advised them that for those that didn't feel comfortable ordering or did not have paypal to provide me with the information and I will order. I only had 1 guy that we ordered for.
  7. If outside it will have to end by 10p..so 7:30 would be a bit late unless you are doing 2 hours or indoor.
  8. Awe ChocoTaco, I am humbled to say the least! The love that you the ladies here have shown me has been awesome. I can truly say that without this site, I would have brought everything. I'm so grateful and thank you for the compliments on my Lazaro Love..... I can't wait to pick her up on Monday.
  9. Blujaye, thank you for the blessings and your kind words, they are very much appreciated!! I'm so excited to see it all come together but however it plays out I know that it is all in God's hands. Updates to come ASAP.... Happy Planning
  10. Sleep who has time for sleep LOL there has been many of nights (more in the past versus now) where FI came down stairs, and stood over the computer as he demanded to shut it down.. those are the days where I got the most sleep. LOL Oh and I kept a pen and paper by my bed at first but then I would had to cut the light on or go into our bathroom to write stuff down.. so I quickly scrapped that idea and would email myself at home and work LOL or make a note in my iphone.
  11. Anytime! With our massages it did and we had to pay $200 cash after applying the resort credit. Not it seems we will only have to pay $85 which is awesome... I'll definitely will be posting on this upon my return LOL
  12. Hola Chicas, So Karla from the spa emailed me to say that she rebooked our massages to reflect the cheaper price.. Sweet. The couples massage had went down along with a few other things. Here is the 2012 Spa & Salon prices. I also posted a few updates on my planning thread if anyone is interested http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/78847/coconoirs-planning-thread-picture-heavy/100 Adios beauty salon prices2012.pdf precios 2012 april2 xls.pdf
  13. OMG love these, they are too cute.. and the flower girls are so adorable. Things I put in mine (duplicated for each so the "I want that etc.." would be elimated) Princess Tiana Theme: stickers sunglasses crayons coloring pads coloring books bracelets flavored chapsticks little tin lunch boxes to hold the small stuff in litlle tin lockets and some other nic nacks
  14. LAST POST Guestbook: Our guestbook set-up will have displayed at our cocktail hour. We choose to do it this way since the reception is only 3 hours and we didn't want to waste 20-30 minutes of that time having our guest do this. So while we are off taking pictures, they will be eating, drinking and signing our guestbook. Set-Up includes: Picture box (An Etsy Vendor) DIY Cocktail Menus DIY Cocktail Stirrers DIY date to surround our GuestBook (painted with Marrtha Stewart Acrylic Paint) DIY Guestbook Cards DIY Sign for Guestbook Cocktail Napinks Not shown: Pins (I packed them without taking pictures (sorry) & sashes that will be wrapped around the cocktail tables. Guestbook -setup THE END!!!! More upon my return
  15. Last of the updates until my return A litte Decor As stated in the beginning of my thread, I will post all decor, along with vendors and most templates upon my return within in my final review. Welcome Dinner: We are giving out our OOT bags at the welcome dinner so this will definitely add some color in the chairs. However; I wanted just a dab of color on the tables as well. Again, just slight touches and this didn't cost much: DIY Straw tags (Straws purchaed from Etsy), DIY Lumi-not all are posted however; the words for my Lumi and straw tags were taking from 1 Cor 13: 4-7 (I purchased tealight candles), and napkins
  16. Pictures from last update post #109... Inside of Travel Sleeve with bling added and the return luggage tags
  17. Updates Continued Pre-Travel Packets: Our guests are great! WHENEVER, and I do mean WHENEVER they would do something (buy their flight, go shopping, get their passport), they would always contact FI or I and sometimes both. I remember getting a text at 4:30 in the morning saying “Coco, we brought our ticket†now who could be mad at that? Anyway, these were mailed out the 2nd week of March to ensure that everyone received them 1 month prior to their departure date (most guests are flying on the 19th of April) Brochures: printed at work on photo paper to give it the shine Sleeves paper: paper fromPaperandmore.com Butterflies & Bling: Martha Stewart punch and bling from Michaels Luggage Tags (previously posted) paper from: paperandmore.com. pictures compliments of the internet (I did some for traveling to the hotel and traveling back home) The wording for traveling back home was "We the People and our bags belong to" and it listed the states where our guest are traveling to so that they could circle their State. Kids Brochures and crayons: Mailed in the packets of those that had children attending the wedding. Template too large to add. But is compliments of another BDW I also enclosed the 2012 Resort Credit PDF file so that our guest could know how they can use these. 1,500 Resort Credit Flyer 29JUNE11.pdf
  18. Updates Continued Thank you for booking brochure: Once we received notification from our TA-Liz, we would immediately send out “Thank you for booking brochures.†This idea was from a MP2012 bride and we updated to suit our needs. I also ordered magnets from Vistaprint, as a way for everyone to remember the trip. Our RSVP date and booking for inital deposits was in October sometime and then became November 15th. So I knew that we woudln't have much activity over the holiday. However; many proved me wrong. Not only did we have the majority of people pay their deposit but most paid their trip in full. Reminder Postcards All final payments had to be made by Feb 3, 2012. Since the hoildays had just past, I didn't want people to scramble to make their payments. These DIY postcards (before cutting) were sent the 1st week of Jan. It reminded all guest to not only get their passports but of the final payment date. I made 5-6 different onces as I didn't want members in our own family to receive the same card (anal I know) LOL Here is the front And the back Paper purchased from PaperandMore.com All of my projects were printed at work.
  19. Updates, updates, updates Well this time next week I will be printing off our boarding passes, having a quick dentist appointment, dropping our baby Cesar (4 month old boxer puppy) at the Pet Hotels & Villas, picking up my Bridal Gown at 1p and then getting my pedi, mani and waxing done. As my time on BDW will drastically decrease until my return and final planning thread, I wanted to provide you with a few more updates. In preparation for our website, FI and I had our engagement shoot with one of my Sorors! We try where we can, to definitely keep things within the Sorority where we can, so it was a natural choice to select Nakeea. Although we didn’t pledge together, we did attend the University of Pittsburgh and both reside in Pa. Since, FI doesn’t like taking pictures, I needed him to feel comfortable and both Nakeea and I are jokesters so she was the perfect pick for us. Here is her website along with a few pictures http://nakeeajarvis.com/#
  20. Not silly at all as I asked the same of my coord. She will gather everything for me and have it returned to our room. I'm quite sure the same arrangement could be made.
  21. How are my fav DIY Queens Anudrm & R~ doing? I'm with you Selina, I love heart the "Wright" one. R~ I am soooooooo ready! Tic-Toc........
  22. Add-On Well with having left-overs come extra things to think of I know. But it only took a few minutes if that. I used the same template for our luggage tags, found some pictures, printed and cut these babies. Initially, I was going to use the same luggage tags but well, why! LOL We will use these to travel with on all of our luggage: Upon our return we will use a combination of these. Hubby likes the teacups (funny cause the only time I drink tea is when I'm sick and he only drinks cold tea.) I on the other hand love the Wright ones.... Mixed feelings on the Mr & Mrs. ones so they are close to being scrapped...
  23. These are super cute.... and I love the picture! This last photo is the other side of the "Please Save the Date" insert. I'm hoping people will actually use them if they end up coming. I brought one to work to show a girl friend and three of my guy co-workers couldn't figure out how to open these (NOT THAT HARD!), so I've decided to include some SIMPLE directions, just in case! I got the actual luggage tags on http://tags.idcardgroup.com/ the tags were $47.99 for 100 and the straps were $5.50 for 100. If your total is over $100 it's free! The inserts were from vistaprint.com. Just an FYI it's going to cost about $1.60 to mail two of these in one standard envelope (it's too thick to be considered regular mail, for US mail).
  24. Thanks so much..it was funny getting the goodies together for this. I know they will love ;-) Happy Planning & Congrats to you as well
