  1. Shannonmarie, The email bounced backed! I sent this from 2 different email addresses....
  2. Thanks so much for the compliments ;-) I can't wait to add some of our professional pics once recieved, the DIY thank you note cards and the revampment of our wedding website to showcase our wedding photos and TTD session.. now if I can just stop being inpatient for the pictures I am so so sorry to hear about what you are going through. Mine was totally that they applied the payment to someone else account but whatever the reason it will still cause angst in the midst of wedding planning. Have you gone to the bridal shop to see what's happening? Are you able to request contact information for the desinger? Have you asked to speak to the Manager at the Bridal shop? I would exhaust all possiblities to get an answer. Hopefully you will have it by the 14th of this month which will still leave plenty of time for alternations if needed. Out of my ordeal I received my dress cleaned and preserved free of charge and the money that it cost me for alterations. Quote: Originally Posted by Antigua14 Kudos on this thread!!!! I must have missed the part about your dress pick up mishap and boy I can relate in being upset about that dress. I am getting married 7/14 so only weeks away & I have yet to even see my dress! I am having it made and took different aspects of different dresses by same designer and still nothing. I had a little melt down on my way home from work since I was notified that my dress which was "PRIORITY" still is not in!!! It was suppose to be in on 5/16 and we are in June. I am in a panic since I have no clue really what it will look like. Sorry, to rant but I was amazed when I read that piece of your thread. I hope that doesn't happen when I go to pick it up (when it actually gets here). Shannonmarie, I sent the email. you will notice that my email is the similar to my username here on BDW
  3. Very very exciting MRSJDH2b.....new adventures how blessed. Wishing you a wonderful wedding day and dynamic vaca... Safe travels.
  4. No worries on the multiple post, it happens sometimes What is your email and I will send it to you. With the 2x4 avery labels, you will get 2 stickers from 1 label (basically cutting that 1 label in half in order to get 2) On the template that I will send, you will see the grid lines which you can either remove before printing or print with them...this will give you the perfect cut.
  5. Great great job! Since you are doing a nautical theme, I would definitely play around with the font a little to pull out the anchor.. I'm not sure if this is the anchor that you are using in all of your projects.. but if so I would play up the font... If not try to look for an anchor with a little more umph so to speak... That will make your label stand out. It wouldn't hurt to try clear labels but look at the cost, as labels can run a little pricey (shhh I got mine from work) but the shrink wrap on ebay ran about $3.50 or $5 for 50
  6. Anything can be a gift really! Why not focus on a gift based on your theme and/or how you and hubby met, your favorite place etc..
  7. Congrats!!!!! & Welcome to the site Have you joined/searched for wedding forums to participate in? It's a great thing to do as you will get to talk with bride-to-be's that will get married the same month and year and at the same resort. You can also see what the past brides encountered and their reviews. Happy Planning
  8. This should be easy easy easy! It was so quick that I couldn't believe it wasn't painful ;-) I purchased chapstick shrik wrap from ebay (as when purchased they didn't come with a protective wrap), this was great to give it that shine like the labels on regular chapstick. Let me know if I can be of any help. Happy DIYing
  9. Thanks so much my fellow sapphire Queen ;-) I love love love my colored bling. The holders were purchased from Amazon. I'll find the name and get back to you. But I think they are advantus
  10. Thanks so much for the compliments. The chain whew.....many relatives shed tears. I can't wait for the professional pictures so that I can send a few to my husband's siblings as well as my best friend mom and sister. The shoes I purchased a size up.... best thing ever ;-)

  15. Too cut! Are you all set? Just in case I'm not on here before you leave.. I wish you safe travels and a BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING Wedding of your dreams.
  16. Sweet.....you can send some this way ;-) But don't forget your singles though...... you never know who may hook up with who..... We had tons of singles.... so that last thing that we wanted to be on our mind was someone saying "Ooops" Quote: Originally Posted by DRPrincesa I work for Pure Romance (in-home parties that specialize in relationship enhancing products ). 17. By all means borrow away! This site is great for inspiration etc.. Happy Planning
  18. I actually purchased natural lip balm that didn't come with labels (I refused to peel LOL), http://www.bulkapothecary.com/lipbalm.htm I purchased the ones that came in a clear tub as I wanted to colors to match LOL. I also used Avery 2x4 labels. You are able to get 2 chapstick labels on 1 sticker. You will have to cute these though.
  19. There are slight differences in the bag but nothing major that anyone would pick-up on. For istance: More candy was put in the bags for couples, and I alterenated the pink and blue items within the bags. Otherwise they were completely the same.
  20. I thought of doing that too. But for PA, I have to apply in person for Social Security and DMV, so the fee just to print papers for me wasn't much of any help as I have to sit there anyway So, I just went on the actual sites and viola. I hate sitting so I'll be the first one at the door. I already changed my credit cards and bank over..can't wait to get mail that jazz in the mail. I have yet to write my married name though when signing documents at work.... shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  21. I will be headed out this Wednesday to tackle the name change battle. First stop will be the social security administration and second the DMV. All else, I can do online or via mail. YAY! I sure did... we had Ivan all day for our wedding from 12pm-12a and then for our TTD from 3-7.. I'm so not the swimmer and neither is Hubby but we managed to pull it off but damn it's a lot of work... in my non-swimmer, water in my throat voice
  22. Ha, just the ones that our guest uploaded on facebook. I can't wait until June so that I can have my professional ones from Ivan. What time are you getting off of work? How do you feel?
