    I am not in September, but I am getting married May 7th,2011 in Little Bay, Jamaica! It is so exciting to see other brides-to-be choose Jamaica as their destination as well! I just booked Misha Earle for my photography. Coral Cove Resort does all the rest of the planning, so now I am just having fun shopping for beach clothes! Good luck with the planning ladies!

    Woohoo! My date is fast approaching! May 6th,2011 at Coral Cove Resort and Spa in Little Bay, Jamaica! Can't wait to enjoy 8 days in the Jamaican sun! Good luck with all your planning as well May brides!

    Does anyone know if you need to bring your own makeup for them? As far as powder, foundation, etc so it matches your skin?

    Kat- I emailed him but it was a little over budget for me. There is a definite advantage to being able to meet a photographer face-to-face though! Portland is great-awesome that you are from there! NikkiT-Thanks!

    Mallory57- You are right. I think that most photographers are going to put their best pictures on the website, so you prob can't expect a different feel for your pictures. Kat- Your pictures are beautiful! I think I will send him an email just to see what he can offer! Did you do a TTD session with him?

    I know there are a couple positive reviews regarding this company and I looked at their website as well as the slide shows. I don't want to offend anyone at all...but some of them seem very "posed" and they seem to use the same poses with a lot of couples. I'm also not a fan of the music slide shows they offer. Anyone want to chime in with their experience? Love, hate, or somewhere in between? This is the only photography option offered to me by the resort without flying in a photographer.

    First...breathe! This is your wedding and you should try not to stress about anyone else's "checklist". You have booked the resort..so that's a great start! Does the resort offer a wedding package or referrals? I would try to create your own checklist with things that are most important to you! Then day by day, you will see the list getting smaller and smaller! Best of luck!

    Two...I don't think you can get much smaller than just bride and groom! We are enjoying planning exactly what we want and not have to worry about anything else!

    We chose the Coral Cove Resort and Spa in Little Bay. We wanted to avoid the "touristy" locations and opt for more seclusion. We haven't decided if we want to be on the beach or overlooking the beach!

    Aww...thank you! I initially did feel selfish that it was just both of us but in the end I don't want to look back wishing we had listened to our hearts with a DW.

    Hi everyone! So initially my fiance and I decided on a small destination wedding- but after all the drama of some family members being upset they weren't invited and budget issues, we no longer have guests. My fiance and I have decided to go along with our plan of a destination wedding but now it will only be the two of us! We are now planning on a AHR on our return. I have looked all over the site and kind find any other brides in my boat...is there anyone out there? What are your thoughts/suggestions?

    We are going with shades of blues ranging from aqua to cobalt and splashes of bright orange! I hope it all comes together!
