    I am thinking that the reason my mom and FMIL want such a big say is because we are both the babies of the family and this is their last chance to plan a wedding. Somehow they forgot that it is my wedding to plan! LOL

    Since it's only my fiance and I, we stuck with the standard cake that was offered but chose the pineapple filling! For our big AHR, we chose four different tropical themed cupcakes in various mini and large sizes.

    Hi! I ordered the Jamaican Jerk seasoning from myspicesage.com I have been really happy with them and so glad i picked this instead of my original idea of blending my own spice mix. This way, i know for certain it tastes good!

    So far, i have been happy with my TA that was selected. She was very helpful when we were unsure of which resort to choose. She definitely tried to sway us towards the larger resorts where I am sure she gets a bigger profit, but we ended up choosing a small intimate resort instead.

    My vote is for the Shellac! I have had it done three times and love it every time! I am planning on getting it done about two days before we leave. Now I just have to decide between picking a color and doing a french manicure!

    We only put the registry information on the Bridal Shower invitations and the BM's know so that if some one were to ask them!

    I am loving all of you AHR ideas ladies! Is anyone finding that the MOB and MOG want so much more say in the AHR then the DW? Mine are driving me nuts! LOL

    Haha, um not too much. I did make my invitation list to the BM's throwing me a shower, registered at another store for the shower, and ordered the Jamaican Jerk seasoning for the favors.

    There have been a couple threads on this topic and it seems like all the brides carry it on with them and ask to hang in closet. if the closet is full they store them in overhead bins. Hopefully, your resort will steam your dress when you arrive.

    With my pure white dress the colors I chose (bright orange and cobalt) will really pop! I love it!
