I booked Nora for our pictures also. She is kind of quirky which I find hilarious. I spoke to her on the phone and put down the deposit last week. Getting married in December, booked my flights and everything last week too. I am cutting it really close also!!! Boy am I glad that I have this forum!

Pineapplebride, we are all going to meet at the starbucks at commercial and 2nd on June 17 (thursday!) It shall be fun. And I like the idea about all dressing in the same colour or flowers or something. I vote flowers, all the brides wear a flower....of their choice...yeah?

I didn't spend a dime....all free goodies. The guys downtown were really great to get us some goodies to try out. Well I did spend money to get the coffee to fuel my trip downtown!

So the gift bags are looking amazing. Just went to pick somethings up from Saphora, and there are a few more things coming our way. I also wanted to give out a special thanks for all the vendors that donated something to the gift bags, especially Allan from Sears on Robson who was really kind and made us up some amazing little sample bags for us. There are all kinds of products.... Everyone has been really amazing today!

Oh yeah, and a engagement portrait session with a photographer in the city!

Ok Vancouver BDW'ers. So I went downtown to see if I could get some stuff to make goodie bags, and it was amazing. So there will be goodies and treats. Trying not to ruin the surprise, but there is stuff from Clinique, NARS, MAC....and a whole bunch of other things. See you then!

Hi ladies, So I wanted to bring to your attention something that I recently tried and am really amazed by it. It isn't a long term solution but for the brides/grooms who can afford it and need to lose weight quickly I would highly recommend Burnstein's diet clinics. They have clinics in BC/AB and ON in Canada, and Florida and Virginia in the USA. It is pretty awesome. Last year I was on it and I lost about 60 lbs in 4 months. I managed to keep most of it off, but I couldn't afford to continue so, I decided to try it myself, but it really hasn't worked. I am considering going back before my wedding. My FH and I played in the garden today, that made me happy, because the sun has been hiding in Vancouver now for a while, and it came out today after about two weeks of rain and cold!

Hi, I want to get married in Oahu, and I have scouted out some places. I would like a really small venue for maybe about 20 people, and some place for the reception. I would like an open bar for my guests, and I would like to have all the little details planned out, however I don't want to get a wedding planner, because I think for a group of 20 it would be fairly easy (perhaps not dummy proof, so thank goodness for these forums!). I need some advice on how to proceed. Also me and my fiance are Canadian, so would we need our marriage licence from here in order to me wed in Hawaii? Anything would be a great help. xoxo

how about the one that is 1752 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC. It is commercial and second. Really easy to get to, lots of parking (the other one does not have as much parking!) and also lots of room to sit around with a coffee! <3 really excited!
