    Hi! We are getting married at the Riu Santa Fe in October 2011. We already have a confirmed date and I have been to the Santa Fe before and loved it. We plan on taking a trip there a few months before the wedding to finalize everything (if it is necessary). Any information/tips/secrets for planning our wedding there would be greatly appreciated! Insider knowledge would be fantastic! We are planning on a large wedding, probably 70+ guests. All my best, Amanda

    I have been to the Riu Santa Fe with my family for a vacation and that is where my fiancé and I have decided to get married. I had a fantastic time there. We ventured over to the Riu Palace (next door) but we liked the feel of the Santa Fe better, much more low key and fun. It is a very large resort so keep that in mind. If you like a more relaxed atmosphere you may have a better time at the Palace.

    My good friend just spent her honeymoon (10 full days, in March 2010) in the DR. They had a blast and traveled all over. They loved thier resort and wished they could stay longer! Just be smart about your travel plans if you are venturing away from your resort.

    Hi! My name is Amanda and I will be getting married at the RIU Santa Fe in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in October 2011. I have been to the resort with my family before and am looking forward to heading back there for my wedding! We are planning on taking a trip there a few months before the wedding to plan everything. Any tips about the planning process at the RIU Santa Fe would be helpful!! Thanks!!!
