  5. Mochamakes3 - don't stress I'm also an April bride an my STDs just went out also. I'm worried about people not booking either though, nobody has really asked me for the TA info and it sounds like a lot of people want to wait for their tax refund to pay but hello that's like a month before the wedding! I'm so stressed and overwhelmed. Not to mention FMIL told FI yesterday that FFIL might now go to the wedding now and FIs brother is already not going. I feel horrible the majority of the people going are my friends and family and FI only has like 4 people coming
  6. Thanks for the info calia! That definitely helps me with trying to decide between the Nook and the Kindle
  7. Im thinking FI will be peter pan ( he totally looks like him) , i'll be Wendy & our daughter will be tinkerbell
  8. I am hoping to get an e-reader for my birthday next month! Â Do any of you ladies have any suggestions on which one to get? I was thinking the new kindle or a nook?

  16. Thanks everybody ! Â Brandy- I am doing my invites also, luckily I have been working on them while I was waiting to get my STD design from Jenn so I have pretty much finished designing them now I just need to move on to printing and putting them all together. I definitely learned my lesson from the STDs to not procrastinate
  17. Finally finished my STDs they're in the mail tomorrow ! Hoping to send my invites November 1st with an RSVP of February 1st.
  18. FINALLY I have finished my semi-DIY boarding pass STDs!!!!  Stardream metallic paper - Flame $30 Metallic Paper - Linen Pearl $9 Metallic Envelopes - Quartz $30 Raffia - $3.50 Personalized Stamps from Zazzle.com - $50 Boarding Pass desing by Jennifer Alison Designs - $75 Office Max Printing - $8 Craft supplies - $free , already had it all  This was the most tedious thing I have EVER done! I had Jennifer Alison design the file for my boarding pass STD after I spent about a week trying to design my own and realized I'm not that savvy. She had designed my monograms (5 monograms for $15!!!) and they turned out awesome so I knew she would do a fabulous job on the boarding passes, which she did! I couldnt be happier with how they look. Then I spend hours cutting them out which was a pain in the butt and it doesnt help that I'm a perfectionist. Then I did the pocket folds which took a few more hours to cut out, fold & glue, another pain the butt task Then tied raffia around them to give a finishing touch because i thought they looked too plain without anything. For the envelopes I ended up having to use "clear" address labels because my injet wouldnt print on the metallic paper and didnt want to take them somewhere to have printed. They say they are clear but really they are like a vellum-y texture so you can see them on the envelope which i am not happy about but oh well. I also have custom stamps made at Zazzle.com with one of our monograms on it, and they turned out great! Although I am really happy with the end product If I had them to do all over again I dont think I would DIY them, I'd just pay somebody to do them. In the end I think they ended up costing me more $ then if I had payed somebody to do them in the first place and a lot of time and stress. But here they are...
  19. Great job everybody! Keep it up! We are going to be some good lookin brides
