I want to go try it on so bad but it's in Spokane, wa which is like 7 hours fr where I live so I'm waiting til February so I can hopefully hit my goal weight loss by then and they are going to do same day alterations so I only have to go up there once. I'm still in need of a TTD and am having no luck but feel I'm running out of time

Just got a call from the bridal shop that my dress came in today!!!!! I'm so excited even though I'm not going until February to get alterations and pick it up. And I'm exactly 4 months out from our wedding date!

I agree, I had never even heard of this series and probably never would have because it's just not the genre of books I usually read. So glad it was chosen, I've been recommending it to everybody!

For our DW were doing a cocktail hour with open bar while we do our pictures and will have a marriachi band playing during this time then we will be having a 3 hour formal reception with sit down plated dinner, dancing and cake of course ( my favorite part)! Originally we were going to do an iPod hookup but now I'm leaning more towards a dj if ican work it into the budget because setting up the iPod and making sure everything flows throughout the night totally stresses me out! As for our AHR were still undecided. I want it to be pretty traditional so I want all the dances and toasts and cake cutting but I'm thinking we'll do cocktails and appetizers rather than a full dinner and we'll probably invite 150 ish people.

Which WC are you working with at the Dreams? I'm working with Yarai and she has been so great! Icant wait to finally meet with her in person! How much is your DJ costing if you don't mind me asking, I'm planning on doing the iPod hookup but it seems like so much work. I definitely want together the under table lights, it's such a great look. I wanted hanging landers also but they don't look as good where they hang them on the cascade terrace as apposed to the oceans terrace. But I chose the cascade terrace because it looks out on to the beach and ocean. I just booked Suzanne Morel yesterday for my hair and make up and am beyond excited! Brandy- I've gotten about 15 rsvp's, about 5 yes's from people who have already booked and about 10 no's from people I knew for sure wouldn't be able to come. Our RSVP date is February 1st in hopes that afterthe first of the year andtad returns more people will be able to RSVP Yes! I got two of my best friends invites returned to my house yesterday and one of them had been ripped out and the person also ripped open the pocketfold in order to get the passport out to read it. Kind of creepy! How are your rsvp's coming along?

Hi Victoria! We'll be at Dreams from 4/4 to 4/13! How exciting we'll b there at the same time. Which locations are you doing your ceremony and reception? We're having a beach ceremony and our reception on the Cascade Terrace and we're expecting about 20-25 people. Can't believe it's only 4 months away! Our wedding colors are fuchsia and orange and I'm having a tough time deciding on certerpieces, not sure if I shoul do flowers or beachy sand, shells and candles. So many great ideas on this site and I'm so indecisive. How's your planning going?

Yah I mailed them in the large pink envelopes and I believe postage was 1.05 only because of the thickness, the weight was right at the limit for regular postage but they were just a bit to thick so I had to add extra

So my best friend just told me that her and her bf aren't going to be able to come to the wedding now!!!! So my best friends parents will be at my wedding but not my best friend herself. Part of me understands because it is expensive but atthe same time she's known for over a year and she Was one of the few people I talked to before we decided on a dw to be sure she'd be able to be there and she said of course now 4 months away she's backing out. I'm hoping she's just being dramatic and everything will work out but now I'm so stressed! :confused:

I've only had 1 white Christmas that I can remember and it was 2 years ago. Everything shuts down here when it snows because we don't get it very often so nobody is prepared for it. We only have like 4 snow plows for the whole Portland metro area.

I want snow too! We had a tiny bit last week which is soooo rare for us to ever get snow in November! We're lucky if we ever get any at all but were supposed to get tons this year so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I love love love snow!

Sarcrook- I was originally going to hand sew the booklets together but thank goodness I didn't because it would have taken forever! Lol! Stapling them was actually really easy and I'm a perfectionist so I was worried about not stapling at the right places but it only took me stapling one booklet to figure out where to line my stapler up at and it was super quick and easy from there, just did 3 staples down the seam. For the inside pages I used Stardream brand metallic paper that is a little lighter weight than the cover cardstock and the color I think is called Pearl or opal maybe? Not positive on the color name. Hope this helps

Brandy- I'm having the exact same dilemma, I want to order those same flip flops and my dress is technically ivory but looks white to me but those shoes are super white and the other ones are super ivory. But I think it will look bad if the color doesn't match close enough

Need some help with hair flower....here is a pic of my real touch bouquet and also a pic of the hair flower im thinking about getting... my dilema is that their arent the same type of flowers, would it be weird to wear a hair flower that isnt the same type of flower in my bouquet? not sure if i should get a stargazer lily hair flower instead of peony?

As for your best friend, im so sorry, thats so frustrating when somebody that close & important to you cant make your big day a priority! Have you talked to her about how you feel? Some people get so wrapped up in their own lives sometimes they dont even realize how their actions affect other people. As for your best friends BF, he kind of sounds like a tool !
