Hello Ladies! So I leave tmr AM and although I was warned not to post unless I am posting my planning thread....(Janine!) I am pooped! I am going to do it but maybe when I get back..we shall see how my time is looking.... OH! Great news...I went to Doc yesterday and.....It's A BOY! Yaaayyy!! Well Lucky for us My brother in Law is a barber...and happens to be FI's barber..and he is coming with his clippers so he will be fine....maybe you should contact the resort and see if they offer services at the spa for mens cuts...or maybe you can find a local barber shop in the town?

Here I am sis! I have been swamped with work! Of course before you try and leave the job before Vacay....there is always a sh*t load of work to do...smh.. But I am about ready..I am taking my dress tonight to get altered....praying that everything turns out fine. Got all my OOT stuff done, Fi's suit will be ready sat, All my templates and stuff printed and ready, Gonna put the ribbon on my fans tonight, ( bought silk fans not raffia....) Rings getting cleaned Sat, luggage will be done and packed by Sunday All of my pre travel stuff sent Oct. 1st and rec'd, Just trying to figure if Ill have time to do my Planning thread before...we shall see..... All that is left is to do is laundry and straighten up the house..I hate to come back from Vacation to a messy house.. Woop Woop.... I ordered Maternity summer clothes ( since none of mine fit and everything is ON SALE) and I have to PACK! I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ready to GO! I hope the rain lets up though because I looked at the weather in Puta Cana for the next week or so and it Rain/ Thunderstorms...YIKES!!

Sorry to hear about your knee... I think you can still get dressed up and do everything as planned. U can take pics without the crutches (carefully) u just have to be creative and use your hubby as a "prop" . U can always get your crutches hand painted or buy some lace or ribbon and dress them up. I think although you may feel as if your day will not be what you HOPED it to be, you have to make it what you WANT it to be.. Good luck!!

I know! very exciting but I am having dress issues...smh...and more annoyingly...People are still trying to come and I just had 2 people drop out...are they kidding me?!!

I asked that same question and got an answer that didn't make sense....I don't expect much for the resort cake, if you were using an outside vendor then I would expect something totally different...I sent pics and they said they have cakes we can choose from "upgrades" and such but they keep saying it depends on the amount of guests.... I am almost positive you can just do cocktail for dinner...They make it seem as if it's "whatever you want"...We shall see.....

VENT More annoyances....I went to the dress shop two weeks ago to exchange my dress for a bigger size.....I was told to come in yesterday( she said 2 weeks before I leave) for my 1st fitting...UGH! so when I picked up the dress it was a little room considering I am growing....I put on the dress yesterday and as I suspected...It was a "little less room" ...still enough to wiggle/play with but nothing major...She's like.."well lets do a HEM, lets TAKE IN THE SIDES and lets do a BUSTLE:"...Im like...ummmm...NO... I dont think im ready for all of those alterations yet...I will be 4 months next week and I am almost positive I will be a little bit bigger... Im afraid if I get the alterations now, I wont be able to breathe because it will be 3 weeks until I actually get to wear it.... So at this point she gets pushy....Shes like well, I think you will be cutting it close if you dont do it now....Im like first off, I dont want a bustle because I am changing my dress for dinner, and secondly I dont want a hem because the length is fine, and third, if I take it in today ( 3 weeks before the wedding) neither ME or my BABY will be able to breathe!!! I told her I would rather wait another week or so just to make sure and she's like well if you want, but it is getting too close..Im like sweetheart..U said to me before I bought the dress that it only takes 2 or 3 days for alterations...thats MORE than enough time!! and because you know my situation...I would think she would want to be a little more understanding, and work with me here!? Phew... So...I left the store with dess in hand and said I will come back next week TUESDAY. and she will have to do what she needs to do so I can have my dress back that weekend.... AM I being UNREASONABLE? is it the hormones?

I heard Half Moon is an awesome choice as well, my sister honeymooned there and she loved it!

I looovve #3 I wanted that one sooo bad but it just made me look super wide with my baby bump.

I am dragging my feet because I still havent put anything together for my bags, and i still need toget my ceremony playlist together, print my welcome letters and oot tags and all that jazz, tie ribbon around my fans, ugh...get fi's suit tailored, shop for my toiletries and start putting stuff into my luggage... Bought it a few months back.

To get the different colors I was told you actually have to call them and they will kind of " Unlock" the formatting so there are not so many limits....I found this out AFTER I used the generic ones they offered.....I could still get new ones with the color difference if I call them sent out but I already sent them out..( They keep your template on file for I think 30 days....)
