I used these message boards to ask questions. I decided where my ceremony would be and reception location right away. take this time to get into the message boards, look at pics and see which options you like. When I reached the 2 month mark I had to let her know my final count and finalize my plans. I wouldn't wait for her. pick the ceremony and reception location. Think about where u want to marry (on the beach, pond gazebo, beach gazebo) also you reception location: Semi private dinner vs private reception and so on. I have pics that I have complied from this site, contact me if you want me to share, I will try to help out as much as possible (when I return that is. LOL)

Hello my Blushing brides, Just passing thru to say thanks to all of you for the chat, laughter, and much needed help and support. I am off to ROR in two days and I am as ready as I am gonna be. I look forward to sharing my experiences with everyone and taking l loads of pictures. Again, thanks girls for being there for wedding chat and questions when my family got tired of me asking them. they quoted me $190 for an aisle runner and flower petals. I told them thanks so much, i bought my aisle runner from another BDW Bride and I am bringing it along with me. that is ridiculous for the few minutes that you will be using it for.

The Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau and the Beaches Turks & Caicos remain closed due to Hurricane Irene. The Sandals resort will reopen Sept. 28, and the Beaches property will reopen Oct. 6. Both resorts are cleaning up landscape damage and property debris following the hurricane that passed through the region on Aug. 24 and 25. Guests holding reservations prior to the reopening dates will be relocated to another Sandals or Beaches, pending availability. Guests may revise their bookings without penalty and will have their current rate honored for up to one year after their original travel dates (excluding blackout periods). If guests cannot immediately reschedule their travel, the cost of the original stay will be credited toward a future booking, good for one year. Guests who want to keep the same trip dates and travel to another destination are advised to work directly with the airlines regarding waivers on change fees. Sandals and Beaches will absorb the change fees up to $150 per ticket for guests who want to rebook at resorts in Antigua, Jamaica, Bahamas or St. Lucia. At the very last minute ( weeks prior to my wedding ) I decided to cancel the florist and get real touch flowers. I ordered from afloral, they are easy to assemble and I spent half of what I would spend and got DOUBLE THE ITEMS. I will post pics when my DIY bouquets are finished. Seriously my bouquet was $80 (now $50) my BM Bouquets were $50 (now $25) The groom and groomsman's flowers were $25 (now $10) think about it?

My wedding is in 3 weeks at RIU Ocho Rios. Because most photographers charge you by the hour and don't really know too much about your personality. Our photographer knows us because he did our engagement pics. We opted to pay for his accommodation in exchange for unlimited pictures the whole weekend so we paid almost $1000 for a photographer for the weekend. he got a free trip w/ exposure and because he is a guest I DO NOT have to pay the vendor fee. Thanks! I was kind of embarrassed for her that's why I didn't want to cause a scene openly.. Everyone has done a re-gift from time to time (although not proud of it). but never for something major like a wedding. cmon'

oops I was referring to the marriage license that keisha sends after the wedding is over? I know it depends on location just asking about everyone's personal experience. If it wasn't for this site I wouldn't know a thing about the resort. They should really do better with giving you details and pictures about the resort. using the florist is nice but some prefer to bring their own decor and items. Trying to get things like sizes and measurements was a challenge (thanks bdw). For what the guests pay to come there, the resorty should offer more assistance with decor...not just white draping on a gazebo and flowers from the garden. I know in a few weeks I am gonna have a blast, just wished they didn't try to charge your for every little thing! guess they gotta make money somehow! I am checkin in ladies, doing okay, but part of me wants it to be over with so I can get back to normal. LOL

They totally got it right... I think Nigel said it best Melanie dances with her heart and Sasha dances with her soul. Sasha has that "something special" like some sort of intensity that draws you in. Melanie has the technique... I loved the number with her as a statue from the beginning.. she is a brilliant dancer no doubt! I love them both, but you know what your right... Sasha deserved it.. That wall dance said things that she could never say out loud...and she was alll in! dance is art and art is dance.. loveeeeee
