Hi all I received an email from Get Married. When you create a registry of at least $3000 in Bloomingdales, you receive a $70 Vera Wang perfume. I have not done it yet. Hopefully I'll get it done over the weekend! It has to be done before 7/31

Do you always have to get a TA to plan the wedding? Whats does a TA have to do with setting the date? Do they have access to the hotel's available dates? I did not think about enlisting a TA. Is it necessary?

I'm planning my wedding in Punta Cana.. More like planning on planning it!! lol but would certainly like to find out what makes this hotel not OK for a wedding. And of course, sorry that pretty much the most important day of your life was less than perfect.

Hi all, I have not yet decided what hotel will host my Punta Cana wedding. I will actually be traveling there soon to check out hotels, packages, dates, etc. One thing my fiancé and I really want is to have a live band (salsa) play in our reception. Hopefully it is doable and not that costly. Has anyone done it? Any info? Reviews? Approximate cost? I would love to hear from you all!!!

Hi all, My name is Diana and my Fiancé's is Manny. We got engaged last September, but we were busy having a baby (he was born in November). We knew for sure we wanted a destination wedding, but were not sure where. We wanted to get married in San Andrés Island (words cannot describe the beauty of this island, but the tourism industry is not well developed, so there weren't a lot of options for a decent wedding) and then Panama (the beaches are not that beautiful). We love turquoise water and white beaches and decided to go for Punta Cana even though we have never been there nor do we know anybody there We will be there the second week of June to check out the resorts and book the date (hopefully Feb 19th. We'll keep our fingers crossed).
