It was so funny that FI and I went to pick up his ring and he does not remember whether the ring he got was in fact the ring he ordered. He was so fixated on that issue that he does not even pay attention to whether he liked the ring or not. Hehehe. Silly.

I actually asked them for pricing info since my photographer wont be able to make it and they did not have packages designed with specific prices. The only thing they told me was that the minimum is 35 pictures @ $15 each. They would not say whether they are printed, in a digital format, or both. So, no clue about their cost. Any feedback anyone? Thank you

We went to the DR to look at and choose a hotel. We did site visits of the places that were affordable for our guests. We talked to the coordinator, asked questions, took notes, pictures, and decided on Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro. I would have chosen Majestic, but the reception prices were stupid. The changed them recently tho. We ended up booking with La Barcaza for the reception. I have only read good reviews and can't wait to surprise our guests with an off-site reception. Every body is right. After you choose the hotel it all falls into place. The next hardest part for me was the invites. So many options! Good luck and happy planning.

Wow talk about customer satisfaction! Seems to me you just got a bitter person on the phone. Definitely, like suggested above, call back and try your luck with another person. Sometimes in call centers you just get a person that will do anything they can to help you and others that are just fed up and want to go home. Good luck. I'll be doing that call myself in a few days...

Hi and congrats! Yeah first of all put the panic aside. It will only make it more difficult. You have come to the right place. There is tons and tons of info and helpful advice here. You will see over time that things will just fall into place. Not sure how things work in Hawaii, but I am getting married in Punta Cana and the hotel (all of them) have wedding coordinators with no extra charge (actually I guess it is included in the package ). I got my self one of those wedding checklists, crossed off all that I am not doing (like hiring a florist) and then I went through the things I thought were going to take the most time (like invitations and choosing a dress - I ended up having to go dress-shopping all over again three months before the wedding. Sad story). Little details, such as decorations and OOT bags I left for the end. Happy planning and be calm. You're going to get a lot more done and better when you relax.

That is a super cute dress. I don't think it's plain. I have not bought ONE dress besides my wedding dress. I don't really enjoy shopping lol. Go figure. I go through the entire mall and end up buying nothing... Hate shopping online because my body is just weird. Anyway I have to do it no matter what right? sigh.
