Thanks Misti - I am actually really leaning towards having a knock off made. I just wish the ones I like on line I could find in a store to try on! Decisions, decisions!!! I took a few pictures of some dresses. I'll have to figure out how to get them on here to show you girls.

Hey Misti - All of a sudden I am feeling nervous! Still don't have a dress yet I have a dress for my daughter and I picked out the type of flowers - I am ordering the real-touch flowers from Angel's Accents. I am really not having any guests, besides my parents and my daughter, but I still feel like all of a sudden it is coming so fast and I feel un-organized. How about you??? Do you have everything set? What about your dress? Any pictures?

BPink - Â I knew that background in your picture looked familiar!! I have been to that store in Raleigh. I am from Cary - so I have also been in their sister store at MacGregor. Heard ALOT of bad things about the owner there - been in the store a couple of times and got a major attitude from her. I didn't even bother trying anything on... she charges $20 just to try on a dresses! It's too bad because they carry Maggie Sottero dresses - but she tells you they are "all mixed in" so she won't pull them. She takes the labels out of the dresses and you cannot take any pictures in there. So, I guess just on principal, I won't be shopping in there! Â Â

I love your dress it looks great on you! I am from the Raleigh area as well. Where did you shop for your dress. I am having the most difficult time finding "the" dress. All the ones that I see on line that I like, I can't find in a store around here! Â

I am going with Tropical Imaging as well. I am so happy about that because I know that I will be happy with all my pictures. I am having my hair and make-up done by Shenique - she is off site and came highly recommended. I am just doing the Beautiful Beginnings wedding package. I am getting real touch flowers from Angels Accents because I didn't like the flowers that came with the BB package. I am not have many guests, so it really didn't pay to get another package. I really need to find my dress now!!! Â

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I am a Beaches Turks & Caios Bride also. I am getting married April 2011. My planning is going good so far - still need to find a dress, but photographer, flowers and hair/make up are all set. How far are you in your planning?

I agree with you on this - I went to try on styles that I totally loved in pictures and when I actually put them on it was not at all what looked good on me! I am still searching for "THE" dress. I am getting so discouraged! Taking into consideration that this is my second marriage, it's going to be on the beach (and hot) and I am really not going to have many guests or any big celebration there, it is making it so difficult to find something that is "appropriate" and that I love. But I am still looking! Â

Yes, the flights to Turks & Caicos are expensive!!! I have been watching daily and waiting for the prices to come down a bit. I can't get a direct flight from Raleigh, NC either. I had heard that flights come down in price a bit around Sept/Oct. Guess I check then. Â Â

Hi MellieG - If you go with the Beautiful Beginnings wedding, that is free. Were you looking at doing one of the other Martha Stewart options? Which village are you staying in, the Italian? I am getting married April 14th. I am going with the Beautiful Beginnings wedding and I am bringing my own real-touch flowers (just because I don't really care for the flowers that come with the BB package). We are staying for a week, and my daughter is going to be there with us - however, she will be staying in my parents room.

All of these dresses from Gianinar Bridal look fantastic!!! I am looking at a few different Maggie dresses. Once I decide which one I want to go with I am going to have Gianinar make it. Â Just wondering... has anyone ordered a dress from inweddingdress.com? They have a huge selection at great prices. It's kind of tempting, but I am not sure about them.
