I can totally relate to that JBean. It took me so long to get out of a very unhealthy and controlling marriage that sometimes I wonder why the heck am I doing this again now that I am "free". But honestly, with the right man by your side, you won't feel like you are tied down. I wish you all the best!!!

Brandy - Great review! - love the pictures!! You looked absolutely stunning!!! Can't wait to see your TI pictures. Question for you... If you don't purchase a Beaches photo package, will they not send a photographer over to the ceremony? Just wondering because I don't want to buy a Beaches package - we are going with TI - but I do want a couple pictures of just the ceremony to purchase individually. Also, for the music, did you bring an iPod, or did you need to put your music on CD in order of how you wanted it played?

Hey JBean - Actually you are not alone! I got a major case of cold feet. We were scheduled to get married on April 14th (yes, next week) at Beaches Turks Caicos and in February, we decided to postphone the wedding until October. To make a long story short... this is my second marriage, the only guests were my parents and my 12 year old daughter so pushing it out a bit was not a big deal. Besides having the normal fears after a failed first marriage, nothing seemed to be "flowing" - and I started to panic. My dress was a disaster (ordered from Babyonline), my custom wedding band was still not in, my AHR was still not planned, etc... On top of all that, I had the constant stress of dealing with my ex (he still doesn't know that I am getting married). After deciding to postphone, it felt like a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. I can now actually look forward to the planning and get excited - and I have since the most perfect wedding dress two weeks ago, and my wedding band just came in. so, now I am feeling much better. My FI is an amazing man and so supportive and understanding of my decisions, which makes me want to marry him even more!

Weight watchers for brides of 2011

Hi Ladies - I achieved my WW lifetime status about 1 1/2 years ago. I had lost a total of 35 pounds and since gained back about 8 or 9 pounds of that. Even though 9 pounds didn't sould like a whole lot, it FEELS like a whole lot on me! So, here I go again. I need to get back on this plan and for some reason, I am having a difficult time this go around. I just joined the online program (lifetime members don't get access to the etools). My FI joined WW about 8 months ago to support me (and to loose the gut). Well, he did fantastic. He lost over 50 pounds (while I was sneaking the snacks) . He is now on maintance and I am at the start line, again! Finding this thread might just give me that extra push that I need. Besides, I already have my wedding dress and I can't gain a pound!!! -
show us your rings!

Here are mine. The wedding band was custom made because I couldn't find anything that fit with my e-ring or compliment it. The diamond sits kinda low. Maybe I will get another wedding band to put on the other side for an anniversary -
Actually mine has changed. I moved our date to October 21st, 2011. To make a long story short, I started to panic! Up until a few days ago, I still didn't even have my dress!!! I was stressing and rushing and honestly, it is only me, FI, my daughter and my parents going so it really wasn't a major deal to push it a few months. Besides the normal wedding stress, I also had the unpleasant "ex" factor in there (this is my second marriage). I feel much more relaxed now that I have more time and I can actually enjoy this planning process now. Besides, now we get to stay 10 days instead of 7 Prices and availability are much better. AND, when I was not expecting it, I found THE dress a few days ago. Everything is falling into place now and I feel like I can truly look forward to my day. The countdown begins... again!

I am selling an ivory chiffon destination wedding dress. It is a knock off made by Babyonline. The dress is new and has never been worn. When I ordered it, I thought this was THE dress, but… it is not for me. The dress is light weight chiffon with a v-neckline with double spaghetti straps accented with beading details at the connecting points and diamond shaped beading at the bias waist. Slight brush train and zippered back with decorative buttons. The dress is approximately a size 10 (35†Bust 29†Waist 39†Hips). I am 5’ 3†and it was made with a 1 ½†heal allowance. Asking $100 + Shipping
