Hey Brandy - Just curious, did you ever get your video from Beaches yet??? If so, how did it turn out?

LaurenMarie - Congratulations!!! Your pictures came out great. I am glad you posted pictures of your room. We are staying in the Parrot Cay as well, and it was good to see actual pictures. Your review was helpful and the dessert looked fantastic!

Kendall - Congratulations!!! Your pictures came out great and your dress is beautiful. This is a second marriage for both of us as well - that's why we are having a destination wedding. My parents and my 12 year old daughter will be there with us, but that's it, no other guests.

Vbbbtk - Are you in NC by any chance??? Sounds like a shop I went to in Cary, NC at McGregor Village. They do the same thing there! No pictures, no tags in the dress, etc... They even charge you a "registration fee" of $20 to try on a dress - and the owner is nasty on top of all that!!! My suggestion, it's not the most honest, but if you really love the dress, go in the dressing room with your cell phone and take a picture. good luck!

Very good advice from all the ladies. I had often wondered this myself. I am 43, and this is my second marriage. That is one reason we decided on a destination wedding to begin with. I FINALLY found a dress that I love and I feel good in. But I did beat myself up quite a bit about the color, train or no train, appropriate or not, etc... I felt "funny" doing this all over again, and at my age. The only guests are going to be my parents and my 12 year old daughter. I am not wearing a veil, just a flower in my hair. I guess I should take my own advice, do what makes YOU happy - it is your day and you deserve to be happy! Best of luck to you!!!

Wow - that's close to home. I grew up in New Rochelle (Westchester County). When I was in HS we moved up to Dutchess County (near Poughkeepsie) and that's where I stayed until I moved down here. I have a daughter that's 12 years old from a previous marriage. Needless to say, that's why I moved to NC to start a new and better life and to be closer to my parents.

What a small world. I'm in Cary. Actually I moved down here about 4 years ago. I lived in NY my whole life. But I LOVE NC!!!! I heard Grace Bay is beautiful. I am sure your wedding there will be amazing!

Yup. That's the color she fell in love with. I am in the process of making a seashell ring holder. I told her she can be my "Bling Girl" and carry the shell with the rings - along with her boquet (that she requested to have sea shells in it). More requests than a bride!

Hey Brandy - How did your video and the photo's from the actual ceremony turn out? You know we are going with TI Ileana, but still wanted just a couple of pictures of the ceremony and possibly a video from Beaches.
