I wanted to let you all know of a very RELIABLE and INCREDIBLE vendor I am going with to help my wedding guests get to my Moon Palace wedding!! Yes they are adjoining rooms...but in actuality it would be considered a presidential suite. they are HUGE and BEAUTIFUL> but also DOUBLE the price since it's like 2 rooms...

so there's one double bed room, then a door that connects to a common area of kitchenette, living room, jacuzzi, then another door that connects to the 2nd room....so the common area is in between them.

Well I know that I have gotten free business cards from them. and a whole box them...

plus when it came to my Save the Date cards...I made magnets but they happened to have a special for free postcards, so I paid a VERY small fee (maybe 5 bucks) to customize my own postcard and got 150 for free...and I got 150 magnets...MUCH cheaper than getting a 300 Magnets! So some things like that..I guess paper products you can get a lot for free...haven't tried it with anything other than printed materials...

The Moon Palace sent me their policy and it's insane!  So, it does look like they allow outside DJ's however their FEE'S to do this are ridiculous!!  I've been in contact with another bride that just had her wedding at the Moon Palace about 2 weeks ago.  She said there are ways to get around the fees, but you just have to be stern.  I showed her the policy that my WC sent me and she said that must be new because all she paid the Moon Palace was a flat fee of $250.00.

Cristina V. is my coordinator and she told me a one night stay- that they have to be my "guest" but my argument is that even "guests" can enter with day passes so if he's my "guest" where is it written that they have to be bought a room night?!

I read on another thread that they asked a bride to purchase some ridiculous insurance if she was going to have an outside DJ...has anyonen else heard of this?!?! I booked DiscoMovil and am now scared out of my mind

so this whole purchasing an insurance policy for your DJ is freaking me out. I booked with an outside DJ....anyone else had to do this?

On a side not I would say Hell No to booking him a room. Just tell them he is your friend coming to the wedding. In your contract, you can technically have any ammount up to 20% of your totally guests be non Palace guests. =) Its in the fine print!
