    We went to David's Bridal since it was a chain and in multiple states for where different people lived. They had to buy the dress in my chosen color (dark purple, Lapis) but they could pick any dress. They are paying for dress and alterations. I felt better since I wasn't paying that they got to pick. The dresses ranged from $99-$175

    If you can afford it or squeeze it in, do. Otherwise I think maybe it would have been important to mention to guests if they had to cover this cost. They aren't being malicious I am sure

    My future mother in law paid. Her daughter ran off and got marriede and my mom isn't here so she saught me out to pay for it...it was important to her. I figured I'd pay for it myself but everyone's family is different.

    I have heard of girl's doing their something blue with a garter...I kinda don't want to take it off and throw it though if I do wear one..

    The MAC at the River has some great ladies...I bet you could go in there (free) or bring them to your venue

    I have to say I attended a cruise wedding and it was amazing! A great way to turn a few hour event into a week of all inclusive fun!

    Dollar Tree is amazing! I got so much stuff for my OOT bags for super cheap. Highly recommended! You have to wander and check a lot but its worth it

    Just don't send an invite. Maybe an announcement? Or have FI keep the ones he wants most and cut out the rest. If they aren't coming anyways, they'll only get hurt feelings once they realize they weren't invited. It's still your wedding.
